Wednesday,

A day associated with wisdom and knowledge.

Do you consider how much wisdom you have accrued over your lifetime?

As we age,

We are reminded endlessly of the demise and decay ahead,

Thanks to a world obsessed with youth and advertising that's aimed at trying to persuade us to hide any signs of aging as much as we possibly can.

But what is overlooked in this race to disguise any signs of growing older is the privileged position we find ourselves in.

To not only have reached the age that we have,

But also have all the knowledge that has been acquired along the way.

When we are living in societies and cultures that are disregarding the benefits of aging,

Then we are likely to also do the same.

We may not take the time to really account for all the ways we know so much more of the world and are more attuned to who we are.

We may very well be the most comfortable in the skin we are in than we have ever been.

We know more than we have ever known and we have got to know ourselves even better.

Aging allows you to see the full cycle of life and that only aids in enhancing what we see and how much more we value what we have.

As time passes,

We become more aligned with our own inner wisdom and not so easily sold on pre-packaged ideas of how we should live our lives.

We may find that we move away from mainstream notions of what a good life is and how we need to be living with certain parameters.

As we begin to ask ourselves what do we really want?

How do we want to live our lives?

What environment do we want to reside in?

What company do we want to keep?

And what in our lives no longer reflects accurately who we are now?

I feel as we age we become braver in answering these questions and we become more honest.

As we become aware of time and our passage through it,

We begin to value where we are spending our time and energy and be more thoughtful on how we do this.

It may be the first time in our lives we ask ourselves if the life we are living is aligned to how we want to be living and what we want to be doing.

It is a great time to reflect on what we do know and what we can do with that knowledge moving forward.

How do we want to use our wisdom to inform the way we live our lives and how can we shape that knowledge into new ways of living that we may be craving or aspiring to have?

Take some time and grab a piece of paper and a pen and ask yourself the following questions.

What have I learned through the life I have lived so far?

What would I like to do now with what I know?

How would I like to live differently for the next chapter of my life?

In what ways can I apply all the wisdom I have to the goals I now have in my life?

What do I want my life to look like in the coming months and years?

Take some time to reflect on your answers and use them as a form of navigating the next chapter of and use them as a form of navigating the next chapter of your life and affirming what you would like to have within it.

Now let's head into our affirmation session.

Release the tension in your jaw,

Drop your shoulders,

Allow your whole body to relax by taking a long deep breath in through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.

Repeat the following statements to yourself out loud after me or say them silently within.

Alternatively,

Just listen and let them soak into your consciousness.

I appreciate all the wisdom I have attained in my years of living.

I acknowledge the wisdom within myself and the answers I hold.

I trust myself in doing what is in my best interest.

I move with intention in the world.

I make conscious choices for myself and how I want to live.

My life is my priority.

I am aware of the present and find joy in this very moment.

I trust that I'm guided by light and love.

I am aware of the present and find joy in this very moment.

I am aware of the past and find joy in this very moment.

I am aware of the future.

My journey is filled with moments of grace and I welcome you.

Trust in your intuition as you move throughout the day and please take a look at my other courses,

Especially the importance of self-love as it would make a great addition to this meditation.
