Welcome to today,
I will focus.
Into clarity and calm.
Let's explore something many of us could probably use a little more of.
Focus.
Not the kind of focus that asks you to get more done,
But a quieter kind.
The ability to gather yourself back from all the places your mind has wandered to and to just bring your attention to what is here.
To this right now,
To what matters,
To this one moment.
So wherever you are.
Allow yourself to find your comfy space warm and cosy.
Feel your body soften.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And breathe it out softly.
Again,
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Letting your body soften even more.
You feel your shoulders dropping down from your ears.
You soften the muscles around your eyes.
Relax your jaw.
And for these next few minutes give yourself permission to do just one thing.
Be here.
In this moment.
Our attention is pulled in so many directions.
Things that we need to remember,
Messages to answer.
Plans to make.
Things we haven't finished yet.
Or things that haven't even happened.
And so we become scattered across all of them.
So let's gather ourselves back,
Back to this moment.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Your natural flow,
Your natural rhythm.
Just notice it.
Softly flowing in.
Gently flowing out.
Feel the beginning of your inhale.
The gentle fullness of your breath.
And the release of your exhale.
Follow one complete breath from beginning to end.
And another.
If thought comes along,
That's okay.
Simply notice.
Thinking.
And then come back.
Come back to this breath.
Come back to this moment.
Back to yourself.
Each time you return know that you are practicing focus.
You are returning.
Focus is really about remembering where you want to return to.
Take another slow breath in.
And gently release.
The early morning sun is shining through your window.
At first,
The light is spreading everywhere.
It is softly illuminating your whole room.
And now this light is gradually gathering into one warm beam.
It is clear,
Calm,
Steadied.
And Anne Harry.
And just let that beam become an image for your attention today.
Because you don't have to give your energy to everything at once.
And you can choose where this beam of light falls.
Take a gentle breath in.
And silently say.
I gather my attention.
Breathe out.
I let the noise soften.
Breathing in one thing at a time.
Breathing out.
One moment at a time.
And just ask yourself gently and quietly now.
What truly deserves my attention today?
Maybe something comes to mind or it might come later.
But it could be a conversation,
Your well-being.
Someone you love.
Or maybe your answer is simply being present.
Present in this moment right now.
And whatever arises is right for you.
You only ever meet life one moment at a time.
So when your mind becomes busy.
Just take a conscious breath.
Feel your feet on the ground.
And ask yourself.
Where do I want my attention to be right now?
And then begin again.
One thing,
One breath.
One moment.
Now slow breath in and just let it go,
Feeling the calm,
The clarity within you.
Notice a little more steadiness,
A little more space in your mind.
And carry this simple intention into whatever comes next for you.
Today I will focus.
Not on everything,
Only on what matters.
Calm.
And clarity.
So thank you so much for sharing these few moments with me.
May your mind feel clear,
Your attention steady.
And your day a little less scattered.
One beautiful moment at a time.
Namaste,
My friend.
