Welcome.
If things are feeling overwhelming right now,
You are in the right place.
For the next few minutes,
There is nothing you need to solve,
Nothing you need to figure out.
Just stay here with me.
We're going to gently come back to the present moment.
One breath,
One small step at a time.
So right now,
Just notice this.
You are here,
And this moment is a place that you can rest.
So just gently ask yourself,
Where am I?
Not the place around you,
But where you are inside your own mind.
Are you in worry?
In the past?
In a story about what might happen?
And just notice.
And now slowly bring your attention back.
Back to this moment.
Back to your body.
Back to your breath.
So if your mind is still wandering,
Or if you feel scattered,
Pulled away,
Or still lost in thought,
This is your moment to return,
Just by coming back gently.
Viteo teaches us that peace is not somewhere far away.
It is here,
Beneath the noise,
Waiting in this breath,
In this body,
In this moment.
And where are you now within yourself?
Are you in the past?
In the future?
In worry?
In tension?
And now,
Without judgment,
You just simply notice.
Then softly ask once more,
Where am I?
I am here,
In this moment,
In awareness,
In consciousness,
And the quiet space beneath thought.
And just for this moment,
Let that be enough.
You are the most wonderful,
Beautiful expression of you,
Right here,
Right now.
So let's just check in gently.
What can I see?
Notice the light,
The colors,
The shapes around you.
What can I hear?
Those obvious sounds,
And the softer ones underneath.
What can I sense?
The air on your skin,
The temperature around you,
The support beneath your body.
Good.
Now begin to soften.
Soften your neck and shoulders.
Just let them drop a little.
Soften your chest.
Allow a little more space around your heart.
Soften your jaw,
Your belly,
Your hands.
Become softer in your body.
Less effort,
Less holding,
More allowing.
As your body softens even further,
Your mind can begin to turn inward,
Not in a heavy way,
But like water flowing back to stillness,
Quietening,
Settling,
Returning.
So let's breathe slowly here.
Breathe in for a count of five.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Pause for five.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And breathe out for five.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Pause here into the stillness.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And continue in your own time.
Breathe in for a count of five.
Pause for five.
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Breathe out for five.
And pause for five.
Once more.
Wonderful.
Just resume your natural breathing pattern now.
And let yourself just drop right into this moment.
No need to leap ahead.
No need to figure everything out just here.
Feel your body.
Work with your body.
Notice your body breathing.
Notice your body resting.
And notice the body being lived in right now.
Feel into your feet.
Feel into your hands.
Feel the rise and fall within you.
Flow with this moment rather than resisting it.
The Tao does not rush.
Nature,
It does not strain.
And yet everything unfolds beautifully.
So for now,
Let yourself be here.
In this moment.
Soft.
Aware.
Present.
Your mind is quiet.
Just breathe here for a moment,
Resting in the stillness.
If your mind wanders again,
That is okay.
Simply come back to the question,
Where am I?
And answer with kindness.
I am here.
In this moment.
In consciousness.
In the living flow of now.
Stay here for another deep breath.
In.
And slowly out.
Letting go.
Another pause.
Another softening.
And when you are ready,
Carry this presence with you.
Gently.
Softly.
Carefully.
And you can return again and again to the moment that is already here.
Namaste,
My friend.
