Hello and welcome to the session,
I invite you to take a seat or lie down and get yourself comfortable,
You can close down the eyes if you wish,
And just begin taking some slow and deep breaths,
Checking into the body,
Checking into the mind space,
And just seeing what is arising in this moment,
If there are any surface level tensions or thoughts that you can let go of,
Let go of them,
And when you're ready,
Gently,
Lovingly,
Place a hand upon your heart space,
And just feel the warmth of the hand upon your skin,
Today we're going to be practicing something I call a loving inner vision exploration,
Or alive,
Our goal will be to get into the self,
The heart space,
The part of us that is connected to the divine,
Our wise mind,
The observer,
The space or place within that is untaintable,
That is you,
And from there,
We will invite a part in,
To express,
To speak,
To share,
Perhaps to reintegrate,
Maintaining those slow deep breaths,
Feeling the warmth of the hand upon the heart space,
Just going to really settle in,
I'm going to approach and accept everything that arises,
With compassionate curiosity,
And calm confidence,
I'm going to hold that the body keeps the score,
Things that have happened in the past,
That we were not able to let go of,
Or to resolve,
Aspects of those events are still being held,
Held in the body,
As fight,
Flight,
Freeze,
Fawn or fantasy,
And in this session today,
We're going to connect to those parts,
Or a part,
That is calling to be worked with,
And simply listen,
Feel,
Allow that part to share and express,
We're also going to hold that emotions and physical sensations are messages,
So as we find a part to work with,
We may feel things in the body,
Things may come in the mind space,
Like thoughts and moods and visions,
Symbols,
Memories,
And we'll approach and accept it all,
With compassionate curiosity and calm confidence,
Acting as an inner parent,
Therapist or guide,
Really feeling the warmth of the hand upon the heart space,
Take a moment to invite or find a part that you would to share or express with you,
Part will either arise and you'll know it,
Or you may have to go searching,
A good place to look would be to place your attention upon the physical body,
In the areas that you hold tension,
Or chronic your injury or illness,
The belly,
The neck,
The temples,
The groin,
When you find this part,
Find where it is located in the body,
It could be any part of the body,
Find where it is located in the body,
Find where it is located in the mind,
And simply sit with it,
And invite it to express,
What does it want you to know,
To see,
To feel,
To understand,
What memories are arising,
What thoughts or scenes or symbols are appearing in the mind space,
For the next minute,
Simply sit and feel and witness,
Approaching and accepting it all,
With compassionate curiosity and calm confidence,
From the heart space,
From the sense of self,
From your intuition,
What does this part need,
Can you offer it to them,
Perhaps you're getting a vision of a closed door,
Does it want your help exploring what's inside,
Or does it want your help locking it up,
Does it want you to witness as it opens the door,
If there's a memory,
Can you explore that memory deeper,
Who is present,
When was this occurring,
Through whose eyes are you witnessing,
What happened before and after,
If there are sensations in the body,
Can you feel them deeper,
Finding the component parts,
The pressure,
The tension,
The movement,
Not trying to change or move or shift,
Just witness,
Just listen,
Just allow this part of us,
Part of our past,
To finally be heard,
Approaching and accepting what arises,
With compassionate curiosity and calm confidence,
Now into this space,
You're going to offer this part,
Love,
Compassion,
The words or the intention behind the words,
It is okay,
You are safe,
I accept you and invite you to release,
It is okay,
You are safe,
I accept you and invite you to release,
It is okay,
You are safe,
I accept you and invite you to release,
The final thing into this space is offering a commitment to return,
This sort of work is deep healing work,
And I find the idea of offering a gentle commitment to return,
Later today,
Tomorrow,
Next week,
To come back again and again and again,
In that way I learn to trust the process,
And the parts that I'm working with learn to trust that I am back,
That I am present,
And I am willing to listen,
The analogy of the breath just gently touching that part of us and returning,
Gentle,
Loving,
But persistent and consistent,
Over time,
Eventually,
Release and reintegration,
But we're not forcing it,
Ever so gently touching that space and returning,
Offering love,
Trust,

So we invite a part in from the past,

And we listen,

That's the practice,
Is listening,
Allowing,
Reconnecting with a long lost part,
Being our own inner parent or guide or therapist,
And over time,
Gradually,
Eventually,
These parts that we're working with will trust the process,
And trust that you are back,
And ready and able to hold space for whatever it is they're holding,
This is a deep process,
Which is why we end with a commitment to return later today,
Tomorrow,
Sometime next week,
Reconnecting with this part,
Again and again and again,
It's a deep act of self love and reintegration,
