Hi friends,
Welcome back to Your Journey Yoga.
My name is Natalia and today we have a guided meditation for the Spring Equinox.
This meditation can be done seated or lying down,
Whatever is most supportive for you today.
Take a moment to get cozy and we'll begin.
As you arrive,
Allow yourself to really drop a pin in the here and now.
If it's comfortable for you to close your eyes,
You can allow the eyelids to become soft and heavy.
Start to relax the space between your eyebrows.
Bringing a sense of ease to the jaw,
The neck,
The shoulders.
Allowing your arms and your legs to be as heavy as possible.
Finding a sense of softness in your fingers and your toes.
Allow your awareness to unfurl into the space that you are in.
Letting sound travel in and out of your ears.
Noticing what the temperature of the space is like that you are in and anything else that you can sense with your five senses.
As you do this,
You might start to notice how your breath and the physical sensations of your body are equally part of the now.
Tuning to the rise and fall of your belly and your chest,
Observing what the breath feels like as it moves through your nose and into your lungs.
How the sound of your breath starts to interplay with the other sounds around you.
Welcoming yourself as an important element of now.
Anything and everything that you've come to this practice with,
Just take a moment to open your heart and your mind to anything and everything that is present for you right now.
Even if that includes some physical,
Mental,
Emotional discomfort.
Meet yourself exactly where and as you are right here,
Right now.
You may find that the body is communicating with you through physical sensation and if that does involve any places that feel tense or sore,
Perhaps you find that you can utilize the breath as a tool.
Letting your inhales invite some expansion and openness to the body and your exhales to bring a sense of ease,
Of dissolving into the now.
With each breath,
Allowing yourself to drop deeper and deeper into presence.
If you find that the mind feels busy or like it's trying to take you somewhere other than what's happening in the now,
Very lovingly invite it to come back to the breath,
To sensation or to something in the space around you.
Each time that you return to the now,
Imagine more space clearing out in the mind and maybe even in your third eye,
Creating space for your intuitive abilities to step in.
Now in your mind's eye,
Begin to imagine a place in nature where you feel safe and calm.
This could be somewhere that you have physically been before or something that you create in your mind.
Allow this space of nature to percolate for you in your vision space,
Connecting with whatever you can see,
Hear,
Smell,
Touch.
Allowing yourself to immerse in this visual space.
Now imagine the sun rising up on your right and the moon rising up on the left.
Feeling the warmth of the sun warming your body from the outside in.
Feeling the cool healing energy of the moon beaming down onto you.
Connecting you with a sense of intuition while the sun connects you to the earth,
To groundedness.
Allow the blending of these two energies to fill your body,
The power of the sun,
The healing of the moon,
Coming to join inside of your heart,
Of your mind,
Filling you up with everything that you need to begin this new chapter,
This new season of life.
And then you take a moment to look down at the ground below you and you find a seed and you pick it up and hold it in your hands.
Just take a moment to observe the seed,
Its texture,
Its size,
Its color.
Feel it in your hand and then place it in between both of your hands and begin to get curious about what it is that you want to bring to life in this new season.
What parts of you want to grow?
What ideas and connections and projects do you want to nourish?
What elements of self are ready to blossom?
Give yourself a few moments here to be with whatever intentions it is you would like to sow into this seed.
Don't keep yourself small.
Let yourself be as expansive and as dreamy as you want to be.
As you are bringing to mind these things you want to bring to life in this new season,
Imagine sending all of this energy into the seed in your hand,
Letting it absorb the energy of your spring equinox intentions.
Slowly begin to bring the seed up to meet your heart space and take a moment to instill a sense of trust into this seed,
Into your intentions.
Trusting in the process and what it will take for these intentions to blossom and to grow.
Trusting that even if the process or the end result doesn't look exactly like you thought it would,
That it still has something to gift you,
That there's still something beautiful in it.
For you,
Instilling a sense of trust in your ability to weather any storms that may come your way.
Trusting in your ability to harness the nutrients of this new phase so that you can become the brightest version of yourself.
Trusting that even though growth can be uncomfortable,
It still serves us.
So instill a sense of trust in whatever it will take for you to have these seeds of intention come to life.
And then take this seed and all of your trust and bring it to the earth.
Planting it in the soil,
Full of nutrients and magic,
Here to support your seed in becoming whatever it is meant to become.
You may sit on the ground in this safe nature space you've created,
Soaking up the energy of the sun,
The moon,
And the intentions you have set.
And just give yourself a moment to be.
You can begin to allow this vision space to dissipate,
Letting your awareness expand back into the space you are in,
Back into your body,
Back into your breath.
If you feel called to do so,
You might bring your hands together at your heart center,
And just take a moment of gratitude.
Gratitude for whatever it is that's ahead.
Gratitude for everything that has brought you exactly where you are.
Gratitude for engaging with this practice.
I hope that the seeds that you plant come to fruition in ways that you could never imagine.
That are bigger,
Better,
And brighter than you can perceive right now.
It is an honor to have spent time with you energetically.
I'll see you in the next practice.
Namaste.
