Good morning friends!

Welcome back to the Your Journey Yoga Podcast.

My name is Natalia and I am here as your guide and your companion on your journey with yoga.

Today we have a simple morning meditation.

So whenever you're ready,

Begin to come into a comfortable position with a nice long spine.

Allow your eyes to soften or close and relax the muscles of your face.

Taking a refreshing inhale through your nose and a cleansing exhale out through your mouth.

Do two more deep clearing rounds of breath like this.

And then allow yourself to return to a natural flow of breathing,

Simply noticing what the breath feels like this morning.

Maybe observing the coolness of your inhales and the warmth of your exhales.

Observing where you feel the breath in your body.

And perhaps even offering some gratitude for your ability to breathe.

As you continue to follow the flow of your breath,

You might notice anything that you can smell.

Feeling the rise and fall of your belly and your chest.

And just begin to sense anything else within your surroundings.

Perhaps you notice some sounds that are nearby or anything that you can also hear off in the distance.

Becoming mindfully aware of the elements of your surroundings and welcoming everything that is.

Fostering this conscious awareness,

This deep state of presence,

So that you can carry this level of presence with you throughout the rest of your day.

As you are connecting with your senses and your surroundings,

You may notice that sensations in the body arise.

Thoughts begin to creep in.

And that's all okay.

Simply notice what comes up.

And each time that something comes into your awareness,

Simply soften,

Re-relax,

And focus back on something that is happening in the now.

Releasing any labels,

Any stories.

Giving yourself permission to simply be.

Fully experiencing the present moment.

Allowing your breath to be a guide and a space that you can return to.

Notice the natural inflow and outflow.

And the ebb and flow of sensation through the body.

All in connection with your surroundings.

As you're ready,

Begin to take three more rounds of deep inhales and slow exhales.

As you complete your third exhale,

Begin to invite some small subtle movement into your fingers and your toes.

Begin to slowly flutter your eyes open.

Returning back to the visual field.

Taking in your surroundings with the eyes.

Perhaps moving the body in slightly bigger ways.

Maybe even finding a good morning stretch.

Thank you so much for joining me for practice this morning.

I hope your day is filled with joy and a deep sense of presence.

I'll see you in the next episode.

Namaste.
