Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian and I'm happy to lead you on this gratitude meditation.
And you can do this meditation seated on a meditation cushion or a chair or maybe lie down on your back,
Whatever is comfortable for you.
Just find a comfortable place,
A comfortable spot.
And once you find that place,
Softly,
Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness,
Your attention to your breathing.
And there's nothing you have to do or control with your breath.
Just observe your breath.
Just breathe.
And it's normal when you start your meditation for your mind to be all over the place.
Maybe thinking about yesterday or the day ahead.
And that's normal.
That's natural.
And as we progress in this meditation,
Your mind will quiet,
Your mind will relax.
Invite your mind to the space,
To the room.
Noticing any sounds in the room or any sounds outside the room.
Just observe,
Just notice those sounds relax you even more and more because they're supposed to be there and you're supposed to be here.
Just breathe.
Noticing the inhale and the exhale.
Finding gratitude for the inhale and the exhale.
Feeling grateful for your breath.
Now let's bring awareness to our body.
Just notice this amazing body of yours.
And feel the wave of relaxation all throughout the body.
Imagine every breath you take,
You relax even more and more.
And as you relax,
As you breathe,
Find gratitude for this amazing body of yours.
G grateful for the skin,
All those organs in your body working to keep you alive.
Heart is beating.
Find all the gratitude to your body.
This amazing body of yours.
The hands,
The feet,
The arms,
The legs,
The eyes,
The ears.
The mouth.
This amazing body of yours and all the gratitude to this amazing body of yours.
Now let's bring our awareness to our minds.
This mind of ours thinks for us,
Keeps us safe and secure,
Always looking out.
And yes,
Sometimes this mind might overthink your worry,
But it just does that to keep us safe.
So just allow the thoughts to be.
Allow your mind to be.
And just watch the thoughts,
Observe the thoughts like you're watching a movie.
Maybe even imagine yourself at the movies and on the screen are your thoughts and they're just rolling in and rolling out.
And there's nothing you have to do or control.
Just watch,
Observe,
Be the witness and maybe finding gratitude for this amazing mind of yours for allowing you to think,
Allowing you to feel and keeping you safe.
Yeah.
Grateful for the breath,
Grateful for the body and grateful for the mind.
Your whole being is flooded with gratitude.
Grateful for the breath,
Grateful for the body and grateful for the mind.
Grateful for the breath,
Grateful for the body and grateful for the mind.
Grateful for the breath,
Grateful for the body and grateful for the mind.
And this feeling you feel right now,
Take this feeling with you throughout the rest of your day or night and just knowing you can come back to this feeling.
You can come back to this gratitude.
Grateful for the breath,
Grateful for the body and grateful for the mind.
And you can remain here as long as you like.
Thank you so much for meditating with me today.
Namaste.
