In this gentle and grounding practice, we imagine each breath as a soft raindrop — falling lightly, washing over the body and mind, and creating space for calm and clarity. With each inhale, we draw in healing energy, and with every exhale, we release what no longer serves us. This simple yet powerful visualization helps soothe the nervous system, ease tension, and bring us back to the present moment, one breath at a time.

And welcome to the raindrop breath meditation.

Please find a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down.

Let your shoulders soften and gently close your eyes.

And we'll take a few moments to connect to the breath.

No need to change it just yet.

Only observe the breath as it is in this moment.

I'd like to invite you to bring your imagination to this moment.

And picture your breath as gentle raindrops.

With each inhalation like a drop falling softly from the sky.

Bringing healing,

Renewal and peace.

Each exhalation like the earth absorbing the rain.

Letting go,

Releasing and cleansing.

I'd like to invite you to now just follow my guidance.

Where we're going to breathe in for the count of four.

And exhale for the count of six.

On your next breath in,

Inhale,

On one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Exhale,

Inhale.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Continue to breathe in whatever rhythm feels comfortable in this moment.

And feel the healing energy fill you up like a soft spring rain.

And letting go of any stress.

Let go of any stress,

Anything that may be holding you back.

And release it through the earth.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine these drops washing through your thoughts.

With every exhalation,

Allow the water to carry away what you no longer need.

Let your breath become your rhythm,

Your anchor,

Your cleansing rain,

Your quiet refuge.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Feeling the ground supporting you and your energy.

Taking one deep final breath in,

This time letting it out with a sigh.

Before we end today's meditation,

I'd like to invite you to carry this sense of freshness and clarity into the rest of your day.

Namaste.
