Welcome to this mindful morning meditation.
For this meditation,
I'll invite you to find a comfortable seated position.
Maybe that's on a chair,
On the floor.
Or whatever feels comfortable for you.
Allow the sit bones to ground into the surface beneath you.
And if you're sitting on a chair.
Allow the feet to ground heavily into the floor.
Root it down from the sit bones.
See if you can lengthen your spine.
Through each and every vertebrae.
Then putting up.
To the crown of your head.
Allow the shoulders to soften away from the ears.
You And if it feels alright for you,
You can gently let the eyes close shut.
Or gently lower the gaze.
Sitting upright with the spine tall.
Start to find your breath.
Breathing in and out through the nose.
And noticing what is present at the moment.
Maybe it's a sense of ease and calm.
A sense of spaciousness and opening.
Maybe it's tightness or tension.
Notice how the body is feeling.
How it's reacting in this moment.
You giving space to any emotions that may be present.
Remember that any emotion,
All emotions are welcomed here.
There's no need to fix or to judge or to see it as a problem.
Allowing these body sensations and emotions to be there.
Notice it.
Listen to it.
And see what it's trying to tell you.
Without judgment.
See if you can become curious to the sensations and emotions present right now.
And just taking this time for yourself before the day ahead.
Allow the things that come up to be there.
Whether it's running thoughts,
Sensations,
Or emotions.
Allow them to be there without judgment.
You start to take a couple more rounds of breath.
Perhaps allowing the breath to be a bit deeper,
A bit longer.
Notice how that feels within the body.
Taking the last few moments to check in with your soul.
Ask yourself what you need.
What would nourish you today.
And just noticing how this feels.
To take care of yourself.
To nourish yourself.
To show yourself kindness,
Compassion.
I'm alone.
Notice how this feels within the body.
And notice the feeling that you want to bring into the day ahead of you.
Remembering that there might be challenges,
Struggles,
But also moments of beauty,
Wonder,
And awe.
Allow yourself to be present to these little moments.
Notice how you feel when you encounter them.
And know that your breath is always with you.
When it feels right for you,
I'll invite you to bring some movement into the fingertips and the toes.
Slowly,
Gently allowing the eyes to open.
Allowing the light to enter the eyes,
Coming back into the space.
There's no rush.
Taking your time to come back to the environment.
I will leave you here today.
Thank you so much for listening to this morning meditation,
And I wish you a great day ahead.
