Good morning.
Taking a moment to arrive here,
Just as you are.
The beginning of a new day.
I invite you to find a comfortable seat,
Or you can lie down softly,
Letting your whole body be supported.
Close your eyes if you like,
And begin with a slow,
Full breath in,
And an easy,
Gentle breath out.
Again,
Inhale gently,
Filling the lungs,
And exhale,
Let the body soften.
So often,
We think that the mornings are a race.
A race to get everything done in time.
A race to be productive.
A race to get back to messages.
A race to rush into the day ahead.
But I want to remind you that there is no need to rush in this moment.
Sometimes,
Allowing yourself the gift of the beginning of the day is all you need.
Allowing yourself to enter today with balance and care.
Nowhere to be,
Nothing to do,
Just staying grounded and just staying present.
Now bring the awareness to the crown of your head,
And imagine a soft light of warmth spreading downward through your face,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Releasing any remnants of sleep or tension.
Your body is gently waking up,
Slowly waking up.
Now gently picture your day unfolding,
Not as a list of tasks,
But as a flow.
Moments strung together,
Each moment with space for you to pause,
Breathe,
And return to yourself.
You are grounded,
You are centered,
You are ready to step into the day with steadiness and ease.
Now take one more slow,
Nourishing breath in,
And a deep exhale out.
When you are ready,
Slowly open the eyes,
Coming back into your space,
Carrying this sense of calmness within you into the morning,
And let it guide you gently throughout your day.
Thank you for listening to this meditation,
And I wish you a great day ahead.
