Welcome to tranquil sleep meditation.
My name is Jacqueline and I am going to take you on a sleep journey where I will leave you to enjoy a tranquil night's sleep.
So if you are ready settle into your most comfortable sleep position as you snuggle into your bed.
Move your body until you feel really comfy.
Pull the covers around you and enjoy their protection and warmth.
Now take a breath as deep as you like as you prepare for our journey.
Close your eyes and breathe in.
Hold that breath for a moment and now gently allow the breath to flow out.
Again breathe in,
Hold that breath and release it as you feel your body starting to relax.
This is your time to sleep,
Your time to relax and leave the day behind.
Now as you breathe allow the breaths to be a little longer than normal.
Breathe in,
In,
In.
Breathe out,
Out,
Out.
Breathe in,
In,
In.
Breathe out,
Out.
Now breathe in your own rhythm as you allow yourself to totally relax.
It's nearly time to start our journey as your body relaxes more and more.
Allow your head to relax into your pillow enjoying the comfort it brings.
Allow your arms to relax,
Your hands to relax and your shoulders to relax.
You feel yourself relaxing deeper and deeper.
Allow your legs to relax and your feet to relax.
Now allow your whole body to relax as peace and stillness begins to take over.
As your body relaxes your mind begins to wander on its own journey of relaxation.
After a busy day you decide to go for a walk and you find yourself beside a stream.
It's a beautiful evening and the only sounds around you are the birds softly singing and the buzz of insects as they fly past you eager to get to the flowers nestled in the grass around you.
The water in the stream glistens as the sun's rays shine down.
They create beautiful sparkles which make you smile.
You notice a leaf falling gently from an overhanging branch of a tree.
The leaf gracefully lands in the stream and floats on the water.
It looks peaceful as it passes by almost glowing with the sun shining upon it.
You walk a little further on wishing you could float on the stream.
Then you see a small boat seemingly abandoned up against the bank of the stream.
You decide to take a ride and you carefully climb inside the boat.
Looking around you see there are no oars but you have a feeling you won't need them.
You settle into the boat using the cushions you find in there to make the ride more comfortable and a blanket to nestle around you.
Once you're settled the boat gently moves and floats along the calm water.
The banks either side of the stream are covered with lush green grass and the smell reminds you of happy childhood days.
You notice some beautiful flowers.
All the flowers you love and other flowers which remind you of loved ones.
The flowers appear to nod their heads at you as you pass by.
You remember your loved ones,
A gift from above which warms your heart.
You lie back in the boat and remember special moments as the sun continues to shine upon you creating a pleasant feeling like a warm hug.
Something brushes past you and you look up to see a willow tree hanging over the stream.
The willow tree reminds you to let go of noise and chaos and encourages flexibility and resilience to your life's challenges.
It also teaches that even through great loss we have the ability to grow as there is always the potential for something new.
As you float on past the willow tree a group of tall ball rushes catch your eye.
They symbolize enthusiasm,
Energy,
Joy and passion especially if you are starting out on a new venture.
The ball rushes offer confidence and strength so go and chase that dream.
Just then something jumps into the boat.
You look down to see a frog.
You look at each other for a moment and then you hear the frogs message.
The frog symbolizes renewal and abundance and you sense its message to you is for good luck as you pursue your life's purpose.
You watch as the frog leaps out of the boat and onto a lily pad.
The lily pad is letting you know you can and will rise above the chaos around you.
You will find peace and balance once again in your life.
Suddenly out of nowhere you feel raindrops falling upon your head.
They only last a few moments but they're a reminder to cleanse yourself regularly especially your aura.
Unwanted negative energy picked up from people around you does not serve you well as it causes you to not believe in yourself.
Through the rain the Sun has not stopped shining and then you spot the rainbow.
Another reminder of new beginnings,
Good luck and abundance.
You relax back into the boat as you realize life has so much more to offer than you been experiencing or accepting lately.
You think of your hopes and dreams which you have put to one side whilst trying to make others happy.
A butterfly flies overhead.
It flits around you as if saying hello.
It's a beautiful butterfly.
Its colors are unique.
The butterfly is reminding you that although we don't know what's coming next you must be ready to let go of negative thoughts as positive change is coming.
The butterfly encourages you to flow through your transformation with confidence.
The butterfly is joined by a dragonfly and the two put on a spectacular dance for you.
As they weave in and out of each other the dragonfly brings you happiness,
Good luck and financial gain as you take a leap of faith when you feel the calling to move out of your comfort zone and seize new opportunities.
You close your eyes as you reflect over the messages you have received.
You feel lighter and more confident and ready to make changes in your life.
Suddenly you notice the boat has stopped moving.
Your ride has come to an end but as you move slightly you realize you are no longer in the boat or by the stream.
You are back in your bed and you recognize the comfort of your pillow and the warmth of your blankets around you.
Content and happy you settle down to sleep.
All worries and fears melted away replaced by positivity and renewed belief in yourself.
Your mind is becoming sleepy as it relaxes along with your body.
Sleep is coming and you welcome it.
You're nearly ready for sleep.
You are so relaxed.
A blanket of peace envelops you as you feel more and more relaxed and ready to sleep.
You feel tranquil.
You feel calm.
You feel relaxed.
You feel sleepy.
Your mind begins to close down and allow sleep to take over.
You feel so peaceful.
You feel so sleepy.
You are more relaxed than you have ever been.
And sleep is so close.
Darkness covers you and peacefulness fills your heart as you feel so relaxed.
You are ready and you fall into a deep,
Deep sleep.
