When we experience anxiety,
Often our thoughts are not facts and what we are experiencing will only be temporary.
Using affirmations can be a useful tool and one which will bring peace back to our life.
Take the next few minutes to sit and listen as I read some affirmations.
Allow yourself to relax in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
Hold and release.
Now,
As you breathe steadily,
In your mind you can repeat these after me.
I am not my anxiety.
I know how to cope.
I have the courage to challenge my anxiety.
I know what I need more than my anxiety does.
I trust myself.
I am so much stronger than my anxiety.
I have the power to change my thoughts.
I have control over my thoughts.
I am safe.
I've got this.
I am in control.
Now,
Take another deep breath in and as you slowly exhale,
Open your eyes.
