All right take a moment and become aware of the movement around you,
The noises.
Just take a moment to become aware of that movement outside.
Let yourself just for a moment acknowledge the noise and acknowledge the impact that it has on your body and mind because it does have an impact.
Sometimes a part of us is resisting or tense regarding those noises.
We unconsciously hold tension inside.
Maybe,
I don't know,
Maybe tight shoulders or pressure in the chest or maybe the jaw is tight,
Maybe the tongue is tight.
When there's noise and agitation we can very easily get tense.
Take a moment to exhale,
Release and become a little more grounded on your sitting bones.
Allow for the movement around you,
Not only the noises but also the inner movement.
Maybe your heart is beating a little faster or the breath might not be as calm as usual.
Allow for that,
Allow for the movement by simply witnessing what's happening and softening,
Releasing into your seat.
The more you release into your seat,
The more you can notice this increasing capacity to be with reality as it is.
Instead of resisting it,
You're able to allow it more and more.
Once again,
Notice the tongue,
Notice the jaw,
Notice your eyes,
Notice your throat,
Notice your chest and stomach and notice the mind,
The thinking mind.
Release into the present or is the mind suddenly resisting by getting caught in worries or agendas or internal dialogues?
Just notice that too.
Notice ultimately that within you which is noticing everything else,
That capacity to be just more present with your own beingness and everything that is happening within and around you.
Notice this inner and gradual softening,
Releasing that happens when you end surrender.
If you surrender,
You become free.
If you're in resistance,
You're a victim of your own resistance.
If we surrender to what is,
We become free.
Resistance is suffering.
Surrender is liberation.
