M Practice

Hi, I'm Lorraine and I created the M Practice to help you find a happy balance in your life. M is for: Mindfulness, Movement, Meeting, Meaning & Me. I aim to share practices and resources with you to help you cultivate these 5Ms. Focusing on these areas has been scientifically proven to increase happiness and improve mental health. My practices range from 2 minutes to 1 hour to full-day playlists, often including meditation, movement and music. I've been inspired by what I've needed in my life, so I hope you also find them a practical way to include positive habits in your busy life. I am a certified meditation practitioner and have completed a 200-hour Yoga teacher training in multiple styles with Yoga Renew. But I'm no expert and don't have it all figured out! My hope is to work with others to figure it out together. Please share with me what your perfect M Practice would be. I would love to help you find your happy balance while continuing to find mine.

I found the teacher’s voice and background music soothing. Thank you for offering this very calming body scan. P.S. listening to this again in 2025. I was a little surprised by the chime at the end.
