This is a meditation that encourages peace and the idea that we are all in this together. It encompasses a mini body scan and some breathing work, where the focus is on breathing in love, peace, joy and letting go of stress, anxiety, and all that no longer serves us. The focus is on peace, kindness, and togetherness.

Transcript

If there ever was a time in the world where we all need to come together,

It's right now.

We have all been through a pandemic together,

Faced loss and grief together,

And now is the time to face love together.

When we have the intention of love,

We can't help but feel happier,

Calmer,

More joyful,

And more at peace.

I invite you all to get comfortable,

Lie back on your mat,

Recline in a chair,

Or lie down on your bed,

And switch off all the responses all over your body as your muscles begin to ease off more and more,

Further and further.

Take a breath here,

And also take this time to gently close your eyes and release all of the tension in your shoulders,

Your cheeks,

Smooth out the forehead,

Relax the muscles in your neck,

And let everything go.

Notice any parts of your body that may be holding on to any tension,

Like your stomach,

Just tell it gently to relax,

Letting everything ease off,

Melting to the floor.

Now imagine the most soothing,

Comforting place near the water,

On a beach,

Or even walking outside on a nice bright sunny day with the sun in your face and the wind in your hair,

And let your whole body relax,

Enjoying the sunshine and all the hope and positivity there is.

And begin by breathing in through your nose,

Holding it for a moment at the top,

And letting it go slowly and evenly.

Everything slowing down here,

And acknowledging yourself for taking this time to bring some soothing comfort to yourself.

I want you now just to imagine that you're breathing in love and breathing out any stress you may be feeling.

Breathing in joy and letting go of any emotion that no longer serves you.

Breathe in forgiveness,

Letting go of something you're holding on to.

Breathe in hope,

Exhaling and letting go of despair.

Breathe in bliss,

Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

And as you continue breathing here,

Just feel you are not alone,

And you are joined by people all over the world,

All who want the same things as you do.

Peace,

Joy,

Love and understanding,

Compassion.

We are all in this together,

And your light brings me light.

Your light luminates mine.

We all illuminate each other.

Let's all be each other's light and inspiration.

Breathing in love here,

Breathing out any stress,

Breathing in comfort,

Breathing out any discomfort,

Breathing in hope,

Breathing out anything that isn't hopeful.

Breathing in sunshine,

Breathing out darkness,

Breathing in music,

Breathing out silence.

Breathing in love and breathing out any feelings that you are alone,

You are not.

We are all in this together.

Breathing in joy,

Breathing out anything that no longer serves you.

I hope this meditation brings you one step closer to finding your bliss.
