I would love to focus today's meditation on believing that you can.
Just believing that you can do it.
Positivity.
Optimism.
So begin by settling back and gently close your eyes.
And allow every worry or negative thought to just float away.
And as you ease into a state of calm and relaxation,
Just tell yourself that today I am happy.
Today I am capable.
Today I am worthy.
Imagine that you are sitting on a shore or on a beach,
Watching the waves rolling in,
Feeling so happy and peaceful and so relaxed.
Begin by taking in a nice deep breath right in.
Breathing in the fresh air and the sunshine.
And letting go of all stress and tension.
Letting it all go in a nice deep exhale.
Good.
Now take another deep breath right in.
Hold it at the top.
And then breathe out slowly and evenly.
Well done.
Even more beautiful cleansing breath right in.
Breathing in the air and sea and sunshine.
Right in,
Holding it.
And now breathing out slowly,
Any negativity or worries.
Letting it all go.
And repeat again to yourself,
Today I am happy.
Today I am capable.
Today I am worthy.
And as you hear your voice saying these positive affirmations,
Just watch the waves settling down and notice how the ocean before you becomes still,
Calm and clear.
Breathe in the beautiful ocean air once more.
Breathing in to the count of four.
Breathing it at the top for four counts.
And now letting it all go for the count of eight.
Lengthening the exhale.
Slowly letting it all go till you are completely and totally relaxed and serene.
Repeat to yourself again.
Today I am happy.
Today I am capable.
Today I am worthy.
And taking one final beautiful breath right in.
Hold it and let it all go.
Feeling calm and tranquil,
Calm and serene,
And completely hopeful and positive.
Let the feelings of optimism flood through your body,
Mind and spirit.
One final inhale right in here.
And one final exhale.
Letting it all go.
Gently open your eyes,
Stretch and yawn.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Come back to the space and smile.
Today I am happy.
Today I am capable.
Today I am worthy.
