Inner peace is always available to you.
This is the perfect meditation if you're finding yourself anxious,
Worried or stressed in any way.
Always remember that this is actually a beautiful opportunity for you to enter into a meditation,
Even if it's just for a few moments.
This will help you relax and refresh and reinvigorate yourself so you can continue your day more peacefully and mindfully.
So begin wherever you are,
Settling back whether it's on a cushion or reclining back in your chair or lying down on a mat or bed and just take a moment to let everything go.
Toes relaxing,
Heels relaxing,
Ankles letting go,
Feet relaxing,
Shins relaxed,
Knees letting go,
Upper thighs relaxing,
Letting go of all the tension,
Buttocks letting go,
Pelvis relaxing and letting go,
Stomach relaxing,
Chest relaxing,
Shoulders letting go,
Neck relaxing,
Smooth out your forehead,
Relax your cheeks,
Relax your jaw,
Your mouth,
Your tongue,
Letting everything be loose and so relaxed,
Cheeks relaxing,
Face relaxing,
Head relaxing and letting go.
Clench your whole body tightly now,
Holding it and then let it all go in a nice big exhale,
Even making a sound here.
So clenching your whole body tight,
Tight,
Tight almost like into a fist,
Your whole body as tight as can be.
And when you let it go,
Make a sound here like ahhhhh.
And now let's breathe a little,
Breathing in through your nose,
Breathing out slowly through your nose or mouth,
Letting go.
Another beautiful inhale right in through your nose,
Holding it at the top and slowly exhaling and letting go.
And now what you want to remember is that inner peace is always available to you.
You can always come back to this place and to the breath whenever you need to,
Even if it's just three short breaths.
This is a place of stillness,
A sanctuary,
A place of tranquility and calm that you can always return to.
Let's do a wonderful breathing exercise now and I like to call it the 4-4-8.
So inhale for four,
Hold it for four and breathe out slowly to the count of eight.
Let's all do it together now.
Take in one nice deep breath right in through the nose to the count of four.
And now hold it at the top for four and exhale slowly to the count of eight.
That was great.
And now gently open your eyes and you can actually close them again if you're not quite ready to come back to the room.
Now open your eyes again and stretch,
Yawn and just turn up the corners of your mouth into a smile.
And remember to hold on to this sense of peacefulness and calm for the rest of the day.
I'm Judy Liebraich reminding you all to take one step closer to finding your bliss.
