Begin by sitting back or lying down comfortably on a mat or a bed and gently close your eyes.
This is a beautiful meditation to do with your partner as well.
Just allow your breath to bring you into the present moment,
Here and now,
Breathing in through your nose,
Breathing out through your nose or mouth.
And you inhale,
Inhale love and exhale out any tension or stress.
Inhaling in through your nose,
Exhaling out through your nose or mouth.
As you're inhaling in,
Just think of nurturing yourself and on the exhale,
Think of getting rid of any negative emotion you may have been carrying with you.
Just feel yourself melting to the floor and imagine that your whole being is radiating up towards the sky,
Lengthening your torso,
Lengthening your legs,
Relaxing your shoulders back or if you're on a better mat,
Relaxing them down.
Relaxing your eyes,
Smoothing out your forehead,
Relaxing and letting go of any tension in your jaws,
Relaxing your eyes,
Letting go of any tension in your mouth and tongue,
Letting go.
Relaxing the muscles at the back of your neck as you melt down more and more to the ground beneath you.
Just breathing here,
Noticing your breath and being aware at this moment that you are safe and relaxed and in a place of joy,
Positivity and love.
Quiet your mind.
Any thoughts that come,
Just watch them float away like clouds in the sky or like leaves floating on a stream.
Bring your attention back to your breath and enjoy it to the full,
Enjoying this present moment awareness.
Think about the person that you love,
See them and feel a beautiful moment of inner peace and love.
Know that this place is a safe place that you can return to at any time.
This place in your heart filled with love and light.
Taking in another deep cleansing breath right in,
Breathing in love and letting go of any tension that may be remaining.
Whenever you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Stretch,
Yawn,
Smile,
Wiggle your fingers and toes and come back to the room.
If you're doing this with a partner,
This is a good time to hold hands and feel the connection flowing through you,
The beautiful soul connection.
If you're doing this by yourself,
Embrace yourself with love and kindness and peace.
