As you settle into your session today,
Breathe with full intention.
This is your moment to let go.
This is your moment to accept help.
Start today by grounding your feet on the floor,
By breathing fully into your heart,
Listening to your body,
Seeing what it wants.
This is your moment to let go.
As mothers we are held to an incredibly high standard.
There must be something wrong with the mother who does not work as well as care for children and volunteer and wear a thousand hats.
There must be something wrong with a world that tells us that we're not enough unless we wear all of those hats.
There is nothing wrong with just being you.
There is nothing wrong with needing help.
You are a human and you cannot do everything perfectly except help.
Whether it is simply needing a load of laundry done,
Someone to hold the baby while you shower,
A friend to talk to who understands.
Accept the help.
You don't need to be a superhero.
While many of us have been raised to hold your own ground,
To do things for yourself.
There is no shame in accepting help,
In letting down your guard,
In breaking down those walls,
In saying I need something just for me.
There is no need to exhaust yourself.
Trying to be stronger than you feel.
Trying to take on more than you can bear.
In these moments of silence today,
Just breathe.
Just be you.
Accept the help that is here for you.
Everyone around you wants you to survive.
Wants you to be strong.
Wants to celebrate your triumphs and your achievements.
Accept the help that is given along your way.
You are a beautiful human being and the universe wants you to be great.
Accept the help that is freely given.
Let down your guard.
Down your guard.
Have courage in your heart.
Be smart enough to know when you need help and brave enough to ask for it.
If your soul is struggling,
Ask.
Receive and accept the help.
Be real about what you are going through.
Don't let it consume you.
Know that there is another way of living.
A beautiful way if you accept the help as it's freely given.
You are not alone in this journey of motherhood.
There are so many beautiful souls around you that care enough to want to help.
Help may come as a coffee,
A conversation,
A mom's night out.
However help comes,
Accept it.
You are worthy of the help.
You are worthy of someone's time.
You are deserving and you are wonderful.
You are worthy of the help that is freely given.
