I have inspirational cards that are little grab and go's of affirmations and quotes and things like that.
And they're a companion to my book,
Live an Empowered Life,
A 30 Day Journey.
So this is one that I picked today.
I picked this a lot.
It's happening to me a lot.
It says,
I no longer participate in debilitating acts of invisibility which have kept me from living my empowered life.
So today's meditation.
I really have no idea what's going to happen next you guys.
I'm just being straight up.
We're just going to drop in and see what Spirit leads us to do.
So with that said,
I invite you to just get very comfortable in your seat with your feet on the ground or if you're sitting on the ground just get real anchored into that earth plane.
I find that when meditating sometimes it's really easy to go out into the ethers and it's hard to get back.
So I always like to ground everyone before we even begin.
So let's just take a deep breath.
Just releasing whatever came before this moment.
And another breath.
Just breathing down through the bottom of your feet.
Breathing down into that luscious sweet earth energy.
And as you're breathing down into the center of the earth,
See the root system that you are and see it as a vibrant green just reaching down into that vitality of earth energy.
And begin to feel that earth energy coming up through the bottom of your feet.
Following that root system,
Feeling that root system as if you're a big strong redwood tree.
Just feel that energy.
Moving up your legs,
Anchoring you and feel it moving up into your body,
Aligning each and every chakra as it goes up your spine.
Breathing that energy all the way up each chakra,
Filling your heart and your chest and your shoulders,
Feeling that earth energy just flowing all the way down your arms and fingertips.
And again,
Just breathing it just like that strong redwood tree all the way up through the top of your head.
Now we're grounded and I'm just going to ask you to send your energy all the way up through the crown chakra,
All the way up into those ethers,
All the way up into that energy system that is unknowable and yet known.
And begin to feel that energy flowing down through this conduit,
This passageway we've created with the breath and the image.
Feel that amazing energy of light,
Of love flowing down through the top of your head,
Filling your body,
Filling your body beyond the mental,
Emotional and physical bodies.
And with that breath again,
Feel it mingling with that energy of that strong,
Sturdy redwood.
And as you're feeling that strong energy of love,
Of light,
I want you in your mind's eye to see yourself standing in the center of a redwood tree circle.
And I've actually been in these circles,
They're powerful.
So just see yourself standing in the middle looking all the way up in the sky,
If you can even see the sky,
All the way up to the top of the trees.
And begin to feel that loving kindness that is the redwood,
The ancient wisdom that they hold for us.
Begin to feel that as you stand there.
Feeling that earth,
The earth energy,
As well as that cosmic energy we've called down.
Can you begin to feel your crown chakra open as you're standing in this redwood grove?
Just feel it opening,
Allowing,
Allowing whatever wisdom is for you today to pour in from the top,
I can feel it,
I hope you guys can,
From the top,
That ancient wisdom that those redwoods hold and they are sharing it with us right now.
Just take a few breaths and allow your heart to listen.
No need to figure it out,
But these majestic trees have been holding space for us.
Take the breath,
Allowing your heart to open and receive whatever wisdom is yours today,
Knowing you are surrounded in this redwood circle that is full of ancient magic and wisdom.
And even if there is nothing you're hearing or feeling,
Just allow the breath to open your heart,
Relaxing the mind.
There is no thing to do right now except be,
Being with what is.
And as you stand in this circle of ancient redwoods,
Allow yourself to acknowledge each of these majestic beings that are here for us right now.
And because they are so sentient and so strong and so wise,
Allow yourself this time to release whatever anger or fear or guilt or resentment you might be feeling.
Because I know we all got some of that going on right now.
So just allow your heart to empty it out,
Allow your mind to drop it,
And these ancient beings can actually help you transmute those feelings.
Just stand there open-hearted,
Open-handed,
Pouring out whatever you no longer need.
Actually pouring out what no longer serves you.
And see if you can really let it go.
Once you're going to try letting it go.
And empty it out.
Breathing out as much as possible,
Knowing we stand surrounded with strength and courage and wisdom in this ancient forest.
Exhaling seen clearly down into your shoes,
And I'm a tree hugger.
So perhaps you might want to go and give one of these sentient sentinels of wisdom a hug.
Or perhaps just put your hand on the side of the tree,
Letting it know that you acknowledge its wisdom,
Its strength,
Its courage.
Good.
And then taking a very deep breath,
Feeling your feet grounded and rooted.
Bringing with you whatever wisdom is yours for today.
And knowing that as you go through this day,
You may get more information downloads.
So taking a deep breath into your heart space,
Grounded in here,
Grounded in now.
And another breath becoming present to the seat you're in,
The room you're in.
Allowing your day to progress.
Allowing ancient wisdom to flow into you.
Allowing your new guidance system.
I'm going to end this meditation with another card I pulled.
And who knew that this would be part of today?
I am strong,
Just like those redwoods,
And victorious already.
I live and move in an atmosphere of love.
And so it is.
