Welcome.
We are going to be in our meditation.
We are going to begin to connect as we need to do more than ever,
Really connect to ourselves.
So if you are new,
Welcome.
Please find a comfortable seat,
A seat that you can commit to for about 30 minutes.
And knowing that when we make a commitment to stillness and when we are willing to look within and see what arises,
That we really have an opportunity to create a new relationship with our reactions,
So how we respond to what's going on and how we respond to what is being triggered.
So I want to talk a moment about change.
And one thing that is really so prevalent right now for everyone on the planet is that we are going through a big change.
And how we respond to that change is really a choice that each of us have.
And it's not easy.
It's not like,
It's not easy to change.
So I wanted to read,
I read something really powerful this morning from a writer and healer in Costa Rica named Mitra Polity.
So close your eyes and so you can listen,
Listening with your heart.
Take a moment to find a seat that you feel comfortable in,
Preferably with your hips above your knees.
And let's begin just by finding our breath.
So take a deep breath in through your nose.
Suspend your breath.
And exhale with sound out your mouth.
Exhale all the air out,
Feeling your body anchoring and grounding.
Exhale all the air out.
And hold that pause at the bottom of the exhale as you feel gravity,
Weighting your body down a little bit more.
Lingering there.
And then breathe in again,
Inhaling as you lengthen your spine.
Feeling the air come all the way to the top of your head and taking in some more air.
Tuning inwards.
And exhale out your mouth.
Exhaling,
Emptying out the back of your throat.
Feeling that release of tension and stress,
Allowing your body to soften.
Weighting your body down even more into the ground.
And then hold the air out.
And then breathe in again,
A nice deep breath.
Inhaling through your nose as you widen your shoulders.
Taking in some more air.
Suspend your breath.
And exhale.
Don't be afraid to make some sound.
Exhaling all the air out.
Squeezing the air out of your abdomen and then hold the air out at the bottom of the exhale.
Lingering in that moment of pause.
Feeling that connection to your own breath.
And then when you're ready,
Breathing in and out of your nose.
In every extreme shift of circumstances,
In the movement away from stability,
Once there,
Now gone,
We live a process of deep inner change.
The perception of who we are,
What this world around us is,
And how we see the people of this world must necessarily change.
It is a time when,
Whether we like it or not,
Our perception of reality transforms.
Either we develop a deep anxiety towards life or we mature into a more complete understanding.
Such times in our lives will always be critical points of our development and mark the crossroads towards positive evolution or bitterness.
No real change can come from willpower alone.
Willpower must be accompanied by true inspiration.
The inspiration born of a renewed connection with the inner self that is.
Beyond time and space,
Inspiration that springs from freedom itself and discovers the freedom within.
Times of transition bring changes to all facets of being and experience.
We cannot preserve the past for the new is knocking at the door.
Let go of the old so that the new can be received.
Combine strength with truth and inspiration and give birth to manifestation.
The question to ask ourselves is,
Are we opening up to creation or are we hiding in limitation?
A new consciousness is birthing while the old one is not yet dead.
Aim for that new consciousness within you and it will lead you to new horizons,
Clean and fresh dimensions of being.
So thank you Mitra for that teaching and inviting you each to just allow those words to resonate.
Setting your own intention for your own life.
May I renew this connection to my inner self and may I renew my connection to my own truth and may I cultivate my own inspiration.
What inspires me?
And staying aligned to your breathing.
Feeling stable in the bottom part of your body anchored yet uplifted in your spine awake.
Simply breathing,
Focusing as you inhale,
Noticing how your body rises and your lungs fill up with air.
Pausing a moment at the top of the inhale.
Before exhaling and exhaling,
Feeling that sense of release,
Letting go of any tension in your body,
Exhaling all the air out,
Taking a moment again to ground in the present moment.
Resting in that pause before breathing in again.
And as we align to our breathing,
Remembering that we are not our thoughts.
And in that space between the thoughts,
We have this opportunity to connect to our own divine resonance within our heart.
So be patient with yourself throughout the meditation and whenever you find yourself back in the thinking mind,
Entertaining thoughts,
Gently bringing your attention back and back to focus on your breath and how the breath feels in the body.
We've become so accustomed to inhabiting our minds that we forgot what it feels like to be inhabiting our body in the moment.
Feeling and experiencing our emotions.
Checking in with yourself.
You might want to put a hand on your heart.
How are you feeling?
What is change bringing up for you and your body in your heart and in your mind and giving your space to be vulnerable?
Is it bringing up anxiety?
Fear?
Simply just asking yourself by checking in,
How am I feeling?
What parts of me are being awakened?
What wounds?
Self-limiting beliefs about myself being unworthy or incapable of dealing?
A fear of death?
Can we each just give ourselves this opportunity to feel and be vulnerable by bowing your head and honoring your emotions?
Feeling the breath as it goes into your heart and the touch of your breath soothing you wherever you need it.
And you don't even have to necessarily know in your mind what you're feeling.
Just scanning and sensing your body for quivering or aching and allowing it to be there without judging it,
Condemning it,
Criticizing yourself for it,
Simply welcoming all of the parts of you to the peace table in your heart.
And if your mind is busy,
Simply repeat to yourself as you breathe in,
I'm breathing in and I know I'm breathing in.
I'm breathing out and I know I'm breathing out with each breath.
And continuing with that breathing,
Taking a moment to acknowledge the ground beneath you.
Thank you Mother Earth for supporting us.
Thank you to all of the spirits of the lands that are protecting us as we inhabit this earth.
Thank you Mother Nature,
Gaia,
Pachamama for the nourishment through the foods,
Through the air.
Thank you for the water.
Without the water we wouldn't be able to survive,
To recreate.
Simply say thank you with your heart and allow your body to soften a little bit more feeling held by this beautiful planet we inhabit.
Calling in the presence of your ancestors behind you.
Thank you for guiding us.
You have also lived through very difficult times and plagues and famines,
Disasters and you survived as we will.
Thank you for giving us this strength and reminding us that we are here for a purpose to evolve.
May I connect to you ancestors.
Thinking about all of our children on the planet right now and our responsibility to them.
To leave this planet when we do as we will.
More abundant,
With joy,
More compassionate within our hearts.
More respectful of each other and of what gives us everything above you.
Opening up your crown and imagining all of your guides,
The teachers,
The mentors,
The divine realms,
The angels and the archangels.
Can you see them above you?
Imagine the portal to feeling spirit is through your imagination and your feeling body.
Two things that we were cut off from so much in our culture.
But it's there.
And it's simply a practice of remembering what it feels like to open your senses.
Turn down the volume of your thoughts.
And allow your heart to open to feel.
So feeling the lights and the shower of blessings coming down over you.
Like you're basking in the sunshine.
Trusting.
And instead of resisting,
Softening those parts of you that are feeling challenged.
Simply by noticing and acknowledging and allowing yourself to receive.
Reminding yourself that you are safe.
I am safe.
Repeating to yourself,
I have the right to choose how I respond to what is going on,
To change.
Either I resist it and I block and I stand in fear.
Or I allow for the fear and the anxiety and the anger to be there.
And I stay present with it.
Holding it.
Listening to it.
So let's take three deep purging breaths together to cleanse our hearts.
Inhaling.
Holding your heart.
And exhale.
Releasing,
Letting go of that which no longer serves you.
Old beliefs,
Old patterns,
Old behaviors that no longer support you.
Feeling that energetic release down into the ground and letting your body soften.
Holding at the bottom of the exhale.
And then take a deep breath in again.
Taking in some more air and suspend at the top.
Exhale.
Exhale with sound,
Purging,
Letting go of whatever no longer serves you.
You have the support now in this container around you to do this work and we are together all doing it at the same time.
Exhale all the air out.
Connecting deep within to your authentic self,
Your higher self.
One more time,
Breathe in.
And exhale.
Exhaling,
Exhaling,
Exhaling,
Releasing,
Releasing.
Exhale all the air out.
Feeling your divine resonance as it awakens.
This feeling of being connected within.
Feeling your own presence,
Your own power beneath the thoughts,
Beneath your personalities,
Beneath the limitations.
Rejoicing in this moment of connection.
Bringing into your heart and your mind's eye what tools that you have to stay grounded and present throughout these days.
Getting prepared like a warrior.
We know that this is not going to miraculously end.
This is the beginning of a phase of growth,
Extreme shift in our global consciousness to awaken and it consists of a dismantling of the things that we knew before so that we can build again.
So how are you going to rebuild your life?
Beginning with compassion for yourself.
Understanding that we need to be gentle during this process with what is being triggered.
Noticing where you hide.
What behaviors or patterns aren't serving you.
Whether it be alcohol,
Drugs,
Food,
Sex,
Social media,
Anxiety,
Worrying,
Doubt.
Maybe just notice it and the more you'll notice when you go to these behaviors,
Patterns.
Pausing for a moment.
Finding your breath.
Giving yourself a moment of calm and feeling what is driving you towards that.
What is making you run instead of feeling and holding.
And instead of running outwards,
Turning within repeating these phrases.
I am worthy.
I am loved.
I am seen.
See yourself.
As in reality,
That's really what we want.
To be seen.
I am loved.
So extending these wishes towards yourself and then extending them outwards towards each of us here.
We are worthy of love and joy,
Compassion.
And we are free.
We are free to respond in every moment and to choose to respond as a victim or to take the power back and show up.
So thank you.
And I sorry I went over a little bit.
I could just see the time.
So the reading was from Mitra Politi.
I'm going to post it on my meditation.
Thank you for showing up today.
This is an incredible time in history.
Yes,
There are a lot of difficult aspects to it.
Of course.
But when you find yourself going towards the rabbit hole of negative thinking,
Remember that that's a choice to see it from that perspective or to see the possibilities of other things that you can do today to cultivate the kindness and the goodness.
And it's tough.
I know.
But every time you find yourself in that negative space and you shift to positive,
Expansive thinking,
Looking with a deep,
A bigger perspective that we're here to shift our humanity as lightworkers,
Warriors,
However you want to see.
Because you are like a walking antenna.
And then you will affect the people around you if you're in a true space of groundedness and presence.
Because as long as we're walking around in anxiety and fear,
Which should be acknowledged,
But that means we need to do this work on ourselves.
It's all about,
From my understanding,
Collective transformation begins with personal transformation because if you acknowledge and shift those parts of you that are feeling unworthy and limited,
Then that will have an effect on the way you show up in your life.
And if each of us do this,
And many people are waking up now,
We've taken a poll.
Everybody is waking up.
There are a lot of people that are.
There are a lot of people that aren't,
But that's not our problem.
I mean,
Our problem is ourselves,
The way that we are,
The way that you show up.
So,
Have a great day wherever you are.
Make it beautiful.
Taking care of yourself so that when you are filled up that you can take care of others and show up.
So,
Love you.
Thank you.
