You are listening to a meditation from Sound Science Soul.
In this meditation you are working on becoming more grounded,
Coming into the present moment and focused on walking into a new version of you.
The intent of this walking meditation is to teach you to embody a more relaxed,
A less emotionally reactive state of mind when your eyes are open throughout your day instead of falling back into unconscious behaviors once you open your eyes and leave meditation.
You can begin to maintain and regulate your internal state no matter what is going on around you.
Often in meditation you feel more relaxed,
Empowered,
Present,
Connected,
And clear minded.
But when you emerge you fall back into destructive,
Unproductive patterns.
You disconnect from that state and return to past you.
With this meditation you are envisioning and embodying future you,
A new you,
So you can become that version of yourself.
For this meditation you'll want to be outdoors,
Preferably somewhere more secluded around fewer people with less distractions.
Eventually as you get better you can practice this even out in public places,
In busy places.
So let's begin.
Find a place outdoors to stand still,
Close your eyes,
Place your hand over your heart and focus in on your heart center.
Slow down your breath,
Focus on your breath,
And breathe in and out of your heart center.
Take in a full breath through the nose,
But imagine it moving through the heart center.
Release the breath slowly through the mouth,
Extending the exhale longer than the inhale.
But when exhaling imagine the breath moving out through the heart center.
While repeating the breathing,
Begin feeling the higher emotions that connect you to your new self.
Focus on feelings of love,
Gratitude,
Happiness,
Fulfillment,
Or any other chosen higher emotion.
Continue with the breath,
Imagining your new self.
Do you feel more confident,
More loving,
More forgiving,
More peaceful,
More compassionate,
More centered,
More successful,
Healthier,
Braver,
More self-actualized?
Envision and feel the energy radiating beyond your body as well as within you.
Stay here creating this vision,
I'll pause here to give you time.
Now open your eyes and begin to walk.
Maintain a soft gaze,
Don't look at the people or things around you.
Keep your eyes softly focused straight in front of you,
Gazing in the distance as far ahead as possible.
Imagine the state you achieved when you closed your eyes and connected into your heart and this new version of self.
Keep your breath slower,
Continuing to breathe in and out through your heart.
Continue to imagine how you feel as a new version of self.
Is your posture straighter?
Do you walk with a more confident stride?
Do you feel more fulfilled,
More at peace?
Are your thoughts clearer?
Are you less reactive to people and situations around you?
Do you feel happier,
More satisfied with life?
Do you feel successful?
Dream the person you want to be as you walk.
Feel into your new self as you are that now.
How do you think?
What do you do?
How do you feel?
How do you act?
How do you dress,
Walk,
Talk,
Eat?
What habits do you have?
Think of all the details.
Create your new experience.
The past is the past.
Maintain a trance like state as you continue to walk.
The more you practice this walk and embody who you want to become,
The more you can realize your chosen state.
If you continue to do this day after day,
You create change.
You create a new reality.
We'll take a few minutes here to allow you to walk and dream of a new you.
You will not hear my voice during this time.
Just maintain your trance.
Continue to walk,
Breathe,
And create a new you as long as you like or need.
Remember that you can come back to this state whenever needed,
Whether sitting in traffic and frustrated,
Or when someone cuts in front of you at the grocery store,
Or any time you feel more reactive,
Or just less this new version of you.
The version you truly desire to be.
After walking for a few minutes,
You may feel the need to stop,
Close your eyes,
And fully reconnect into your heart center again.
You can do this at any time you feel the need to do so,
Focusing in again on your new self.
When you finish walking,
Stand again with your hand on your heart and repeat a mantra that illustrates how you want to feel.
This could be,
I am strong,
I am powerful,
I am brave,
I am confident,
I create my own reality,
I am kind,
I am whole,
Or anything you want to truly feel.
Receive this and feel gratitude for an opportunity to walk through life new,
Knowing you have the power to create change.
