
Alpha Exercises (The Silva Method)

This Jose Silva Method meditation includes various Alpha Reinforcement exercises from Jose Silva, the creator of The Silva Method. This teaches you how to achieve different levels of mind. You can use this combination of exercises individually or together as you see fit. They are useful for relaxation, for problem-solving, for sleeping and for overall improvement in health and processing of information. Access these deeper levels of mind daily for the best benefit.

You are listening to a meditation from Sound Science Soul.
This meditation includes various exercises and teaches you how to achieve different levels of mind.
These are called the Alpha Reinforcement Exercises from Jose Silva,
The creator of the Silva Method.
You can use these combination of exercises individually or together as you see fit.
They are useful for relaxation,
For problem-solving,
For sleeping,
And for overall improvement in health and processing of information.
At deeper states of mind,
Once you get past Beta,
You open up more possibilities to use so you can create change and feel better.
The steps in the Silva Method exercises begin with entering the state,
Deepening the state,
Programming or reprogramming the mind,
And exiting the level of mind to bring you back to Beta.
We will begin this exercise with the basic 3-2-1 Method.
So first sit comfortably and then close your eyes.
Imagine that you are looking up slightly above eye level.
Take a deep breath and while exhaling mentally repeat and visualize the number 3 three times.
Take in another deep breath and while exhaling mentally repeat and visualize the number 2 three times.
Breathe in deeply again and exhale while mentally repeating and visualizing the number 1 three times.
You are now at level 1,
The basic level.
You can use this level for any purpose you desire.

In the next exercise I'm going to help you learn how to physically relax at level 3 by placing your attention on the different parts of your body starting from top to bottom.
As you relax these areas envision relaxing them both externally as well as internally,
Loosening each of these areas feeling the tension release.
Relax your scalp.
Relax your forehead.
Relax your eyes.
Relax your face.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your throat.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your chest.
Relax your abdomen.
Relax your thighs.
Relax your knees.
Relax your calves.
And relax your feet.
You are now at a deeper healthier level of mind deeper than before.
You are now at level 3 completely relaxed.
Whenever you mentally repeat and visualize the number 3 your body will relax as much as you are now and will increase every time you practice.
To achieve mental relaxation at level 2 mentally repeat and visualize the number 2 several times.
And now you are at level 2 a level deeper than 3.
Level 2 is for mental relaxation where noises will not disturb you instead noises will help you to relax more and more.
To improve mental relaxation at level 2 practice visualizing peaceful scenes.
Somewhere you feel most at peace most content happiest.
We will pause now for a moment so you can create your scene.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your legs.
Relax your legs.

To achieve brain level 1 mentally repeat.
And visualize the number 1 several times.
You are now at level 1.
This is the basic level.
Here you can use this level of mind for any purpose you desire so you can enter healthier deeper levels of mind.
In order to achieve deeper levels of mind you can also use this countdown deepening exercise.
You can count from 25 to 1,
50 to 1 or 100 to 1.
We will soon pause here to allow you to count down.
When you start this exercise if you are new to meditation in particular it is best to count down from 100 to 1 to start for about 10 days before moving on to 50 to 1 for 10 days.
And then you can start counting down from 25 to 1.

When you reach 1 you will be at a deeper level of mind,
Deeper than before.
At this level and all levels of mind you always maintain full control.
It is best to practice this countdown deepening exercise first thing in the morning for at least 5 minutes before you get out of bed since you awake still in a deeper level of mind.
Another good time to practice is before bed right before you go to sleep as your mind is transitioning to another level of mind.
Practicing for at least 5 minutes and up to 15 minutes is best for 1 to 3 times per day.
To exit any level of mind slowly mentally count from 1 to 5.
While counting mentally tell yourself that at the count of 5 you will open your eyes,
Be wide awake,
Feeling better than before.
This is so.
As another way to help you enter a deeper healthier level of mind I'm going to count from 10 to 1.
At each number you will feel yourself going deeper and deeper entering a deeper healthier state of mind.

You are feeling more relaxed going deeper.
8,
7,
Going deeper and deeper.
6,
Deeper and deeper into your mind.
5,
4,
3,
Deeper and deeper you go.
2,
1.
You are now at a deeper level of mind than before.
You may go even deeper by relaxing your eyelids.
Feel this relaxation move from your head downwards throughout your body to your feet and your toes.
You are deeply relaxed now feeling wonderful.
I'm going to count from 1 to 3 and on 3 at the sound of my fingers snapping you will envision yourself mentally at your ideal place of peace and relaxation.
You will pause at that point and you will not hear my voice.
When you hear my voice again you will take a deep breath and go deeper and deeper.

You are now at a deeper level of mind than before.
You may go even deeper by relaxing your eyelids.
You are now at a deeper level of mind than before.
Relax.
Take a deep breath and go deeper and deeper.
You are now able to use more of your mind intentionally.
Repeat these statements in your mind after me.
You may want to use these statements or other helpful positive statements sometimes at this level of mind.
My greater mental abilities are for bettering humanity.
Every day I get better and better.
Feeling better and better.
Positive thoughts.
Bring me what I desire.
I have full control and authority at different levels of mind.
I maintain a fully healthy body and mind.
Negative thoughts have no influence over me at any level of mind.
Every time I access these levels of mind I receive benefits both physically and mentally.
I can use these levels of mind for my physical and mental benefit.
I can use these levels of mind to help others both physically and mentally.
I will only use these levels of mind in a constructive,
Creative manner to make this better considering the whole of humanity.
As a human being able to access greater levels of mind I have greater understanding,
Compassion and patience.
In a moment I am going to count from one to five and snap my fingers.
When I snap my fingers you will be wide awake,
Feeling better than before.
You will have no ill effects from accessing other levels of mind.
No headache,
No vision changes,
No sound in your ears,
No hearing issues.
You will only feel refreshed and revitalized.
One,
Two,
Coming out slowly.
Three,
At the count of five you will feel wide awake,
Healthy,
Better than before.
Four,
Five,
Eyes open,
Wide awake,
Feeling better and better,
Better than before.
This is and will continue to be.
Use any of these exercises as needed or for best results use them every day.
