This meditation is a method of accessing the alpha state of mind based on and from the achieving alpha method in the book,

In meditation,
The alpha level of mind is reached.
It is in part where you start to clear your mind of conscious thought and it feels calm here,
Intention is relieved,
Anxiety,
Depression,
Health issues are even impacted by reaching this state,
Just by reaching this state.
Yet that is the passive version of using alpha levels of mind.
Mind control goes beyond this as you use this level of mind to solve problems.
This,
As the Silva Method puts it,
Is dynamic meditation,
It's powerful.
You can do different things in alpha or theta than you can do in beta.
This is the key concept in mind control.
Use your mind in a special way beyond how you are used to,
How you might have been taught and it opens you up to new possibilities and allows you to tap into a higher consciousness,
A higher and different intelligence.
Positive thinking is powerful and when you use other levels of mind,
You gain access to more creative abilities.
When you awaken in the morning,
You can go to the bathroom if necessary,
Then return to bed.
Ideally,
You would remain in bed and do this exercise first as you are most likely in alpha.
You may want to set your alarm for 15 minutes or more in case you fall back asleep.
Let's begin.
First,
Let's get you settled in your body and your nervous system in a calm state.
You're going to take a total of three breaths to calm and center you.
Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
For these breaths,
You will take deep,
Slow breaths through the nose until your abdomen expands like a balloon and then you will release the breath through the mouth slowly.
You want to completely expel the breath and relax your body,
Deepening the relaxation with each breath.
Breathe in deeply through the nose,
Filling your abdomen.
Pause and hold the breath and then expel the breath completely.
Breathe out longer than the inhale or the hold as this activates your parasympathetic nervous system,
Bringing you into a calmer state.
Allow your body to relax and any tension in your shoulders to subside.
Breathe in deeply again.
Pause and hold.
Breathe in deeply again.
Pause and hold.
And then release the breath fully but slowly as though you are very slowly deflating a balloon.
Again,
Breathe out longer than the inhale or the hold.
Feel any pressure in your chest release.
Breathe in a final last time.
Pause and hold.
And blow a steady stream of air from your mouth as you release the breath.
This time,
Blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
Keep releasing the breath until your lungs are completely empty and you feel much less tension throughout your body.
Pause and hold.
Keeping your eyes closed,
Look upward behind your eyelids at a 20 degree angle.
This eye position alone can bring you into alpha.
Now slowly,
At about two seconds each,
Count backwards from 100 to 1.
Keep your mind focused on counting.
We'll pause here so you can count.
Pause and hold.
And blow a steady stream of air from your mouth as you release the breath.
This time,
Blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
Keep your eyes closed.
Pause and hold.
And blow a steady stream of air from your mouth as you release the breath.
This time,
Blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
Pause and hold.
And blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
This time,
Blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
Pause and hold.
And blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
This time,
Blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
Pause and hold.
And blow out the air as long as possible,
Feeling all tension completely release from the body.
This time,

You are now in alpha and may have already been.
In fact you may feel no different because when you awaken you are often in alpha for a while.
Your mind goes from theta to alpha before getting to beta,
The awake state.
Often as your brain passes through alpha it stays there for a while during your morning routine.
If you don't feel any different,
Don't question it,
Simply relax.
In this state you can repeat any positive affirmations you want to reprogram your mind with.
Or this is where you can spend a few moments visualizing your goals.
Or you can even just think of a peaceful place where you feel happiest,
Most content.
This is your time and an opportunity to create peace,
Harmony,
Self love and accomplishment in your life.
We'll pause here for a bit so you can do the work to reprogram your brain for your greatest good.
When you hear my voice again we'll bring you out of the alpha state.
You will feel a greatеры and immediate relief.
In order to come out of the alpha state,
You repeat to yourself the following.
I will slowly become more awake as I count from one to five.
When I get to five,
I will open my eyes,
Be wide awake,
Feeling healthy,
Feeling better than before.
One,
Two,
Three,
Awakening fully,
Feeling better.
Four,
Five.
Open your eyes.
You are wide awake,
Feeling better than before.
Now that you are fully awake,
Know that you will need to first bring yourself into alpha when you do this exercise.
Then deepen that state by counting,
And then you will need to bring yourself out of the state.
For the first ten mornings,
Count from one hundred to one.
Then for ten mornings,
Count from fifty to one.
Then for ten mornings,
Count from twenty-five to one.
Then for ten mornings,
Count from ten to one.
And then start counting from five to one.
By that time,
You are able to more easily and quickly access the alpha level of mind,
So it requires less of a countdown.
