This is a meditation from Sound Science Soul.
This meditation is best used in the morning,
Ideally as the sun is coming up.
The chanting you hear in the background is an example of a primordial sound meditation,
Thought to be the sound or vibration present at the moment of one's birth.
It can be used to recite,
Sing,
Or chant as the sun rises.
This meditation is to bring peace to yourself as you start your day,
But also to bring peace,
Joy,
And healing to others in your life,
Including those you have challenging relationships with.
Let's begin.
Sit or lie down comfortably.
If sitting,
The ideal position is to sit cross legged with the back of your hands resting on your knees and your first two fingers touching your thumbs.
It's always beneficial to begin with breath with any meditation practice as the breath ties the soul to the body.
Becoming aware of our breath reminds us of this,
But focusing on our breath also helps us to slow down and center within ourselves.
Let's start with six breaths,
Breathing in for a count of six,
Holding for three,
And breathing out for six.
Let's begin.
Breathing in,

Holding for a count of one,
Two,
Three,
Breathing out for a count of one,
Two,

It's okay if you can't breathe that deeply.
Just take in as much breath as feels comfortable.

Feel your body completely relax and start to say to yourself,
I'm willing to see this differently.
This helps to entrain your brain to allow a difference in perspective,
A difference in how you see all the challenges in your life.
Repeat after me.
I'm willing to see this differently.
I'm willing to see these situations differently.
I'm willing to see these and all challenging situations in my life differently.
Repeat this prayer after me.
Today I pray that the people in my life feel loved,
Accepted,
Peaceful,
Free,
Cared for,
And happy.
Say out loud or silently the names of those you wish to feel this way,
Including those you have,
Challenging relationships with,
Those who have hurt you.
We'll take a moment of silence so you can do so.
Remember that shifts in your life start to occur when you shift from a state of fear to a state of love in all situations.
Act out of love.
Repeat this prayer after me as a request to the universe or any other higher power to guide you through this day.
I surrender these situations.
May they be used for the greater good.
Open my heart to give and receive love.
May all results unfold for the good of all concerned.
I trust in the universe or my higher power and the greater purpose.
Remove my ego,
Fear,
And expectation.
I only allow love and acceptance.
Lastly,
Set an ideal for the day and its purpose.
Setting an ideal keeps you focused on what you want to create in yourself today.
An example could be the idea of simply loving or the purpose of loving more and receiving more love to fill your life with love and joy.
Ask the universe or your higher power to handle this and all.
Sit quietly now in peace as you contemplate welcoming more love,
Joy,
Peace,
Healing,
And fulfillment into your life.
Say this prayer and set this intention daily for at least 30 days and watch your life change.
