Interrupt the overthinking spiral.
So you can return to clear,
Decisive thinking.
Find a comfortable,
Low-lit place to sit or lay down.
And slowly close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
And begin to relax your entire body.
With each breath in,
Feel a small space opening inside your mind.
And with each breath.
Feel your shoulders gently softened.
Notice how your mind can begin to spiral.
One thought leading to another.
Than another.
Another.
Until it feels like you're inside it instead of observing it.
Take another slow,
Deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine that spiral slowing down.
Not stopping.
Just slowly.
And now imagine that each thought in the spiral becomes visible.
Like words written on a rotating wheel.
And as the wheel slows.
You can begin.
To read them.
See them clearly.
Take another breath.
And gently reach out and touch one thought.
Just one.
And as you touch it,
The wheel stops.
Notice how everything becomes still.
Take another slow breath.
Now ask yourself.
Is this thought useful right now?
If yes.
.
.
Imagine placing it in front of you.
If no,
Imagine letting it fade.
Take another breath.
Notice how quickly the spiral loses its power over you.
When you stop.
Feeding it with attention.
Repeat quietly,
Out loud or in your mind.
I am not my thoughts.
I can choose which thoughts to hold.
Slowing down breaks the spiral.
Clarity returns when I pause.
Feel your mind becoming a little quieter now.
A little more stable.
A little more.
Grounded.
Take another slow breath.
And remain here.
Outside the spiral.
Take your time,
For as long as you need.
Thank you for stepping out of overthinking and into clarity.
And when you're ready.
Slowly open your eyes.
And let me leave you with these words.
It's a great day to be alive.
