Welcome dear one,

For many of us relationships are the greatest source of joy and the greatest source of pain in our lives and it's so easy to lose ourselves in the other to get concerned and caught up and what they are wanting what they are needing we identify with ourselves as being part of them as opposed to being whole in ourselves we become accustomed to spending time with them thinking of them when it comes to our decision-making and at times even feeling lost when we are not connected to them sometimes we become so focused on and attached to another that in a way we forget who we are so let us take these next moments together to remember I invite you to find a comfortable seated position feel your feet on the floor or maybe tucked underneath you take a slow deep breath in exhale through the mouth as you close the eyes continue to breathe consciously slowly deeply on your next exhalation feel your shoulders relaxing back and down as you exhale feel your hips and lower body sinking down and becoming heavier allow a slight space between the teeth maybe even the lips as you soften the jaw the face this is a journey of remembrance remembering what you love your passions your desires and needs bring to mind a vision of yourself before this relationship that you're focusing on today see what you are wearing your body language the expression on your face and if visualizing doesn't come easily you can use the power of your feelings and your thoughts to connect with this part of you before the relationship what were your goals your dreams before this relationship maybe you had dreams of traveling to certain places hobbies that you wanted to take on maybe you had goals for your body or your career that you let go of once the relationship started remember what was alive in your mind and heart before the relationship and also remember what you enjoyed about your life how did you spend your free time in a way that inspired you relaxed you supported you in some way where they're enriching friendships that you had before were there ways that you lived your life maybe more independently that you really enjoyed or were grateful for before this relationship all relationships are mirrors they reflect back to us what is inside of us our fears our love and as we know they are a constant opportunity to learn and to ultimately face ourselves although some things might be painful to remember I invite you to become aware of what you have learned by being in this relationship that has now ended what can you take with you into your new life maybe you're more aware of things that you do not want to experience or spend your time on maybe you're aware of the things that did work well for you and you would like to put more energy into that moving forward how did this relationship help you grow and evolve and what learnings are you taking with you so many of us shy away from pain distract ourselves from pain yet pain is the greatest catalyst for transformation think of the caterpillar who transforms into a butterfly the process between being a caterpillar and having the exquisite wings that allow them to fly is moving into that cocoon that chrysalis and literally dissolving the caterpillar builds the cocoon around it and what was dissolves the structure the body of the caterpillar becomes no more and from this the butterfly is created the same being yet a completely new form that then emerges from this cocoon with wings that fly you are in a new era maybe still healing what has been yet what lies before you is the great mystery of life and you have the power to choose you have the power to create you are the one who can love and respect and honor you more than any other and when you live a life where you take care of yourself where you love yourself and you treat yourself with compassion kindness respect where you empower yourself you will naturally find yourself in relations with others who are able to reflect back what you are giving to yourself so as you move into this new era and you may still be in the cocoon you may still be dissolving wherever you are in your process when you think of what will happen once you emerge what do you wish for your life how do you wish to feel in your body how do you wish to feel in your heart your emotions how do you wish for your mind to think start to envision this new you this new life if you have the power to create any reality what would this new version of you be like how would their relationships be if you are this new version of yourself transformed evolved what does your life look like what new experiences are you trying are you taking risks are you returning to dreams that have been blossoming in your heart for decades are you remembering the magic that is in every moment that you may have forgotten so long ago take these next moments to think feel envision your life the way you choose it to be bring every detail to life who are you with what can you see what can you hear what can you smell and taste and feel this is your conscious creation let's take a deep full breath in together exhale through the mouth with a sigh another deep full breath in exhale with a sigh I invite you to place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly if possible and offer yourself gratitude be so grateful to you for everything that you have persevered through for your tenderness for your courage to remember your heart remember your dreams remember the great mystery of life and the magic that is already in every fiber of your being waiting to be remembered slowly move the body returning your awareness to this moment the space around you maybe you'd like to reach the arms open wide open your chest welcome life welcome yourself home maybe give yourself a big hug and again just say thank you take your time and when you're ready slowly open the eyes and practice seeing through the eyes of this new possibility of your life and of coming home to you all my love and my deepest gratitude to sit together
