I'm so grateful to be together.
Today's meditation is a journey of affirmations to guide us into greater inner peace.
Peace is our nature.
Our essence is peace.
It is our natural state to be in harmony with all of life,
Our inner world and our outer world.
But due to the mind,
We experience great non-peace in our lives.
Our minds reject our experiences of discomfort,
The unknown,
Pain,
Physical,
Mental,
Emotional.
Peace is always within our being.
The light of the self is always present.
And through the power of focusing the mind,
We can guide ourselves home to this peace that resides within every fiber of our being.
I invite you to find a comfortable position seated or lying down.
Feel your shoulders relaxing down.
And as you deepen the breath,
Feel your belly softening,
Your solar plexus and chest softening.
Allow a space between the teeth,
Maybe even the lips,
So the jaw and the throat can relax.
Feel your breath moving slowly and deeply in and out of the body.
No matter what you are experiencing,
Peace is always a breath away,
A thought.
If it's comfortable,
Allow the eyes to close as you feel your body settling,
Becoming more relaxed.
As you hear each affirmation,
I invite you to repeat it silently in your mind or out loud.
