Hello and welcome to Self Healing Mondays.
My name is Saskia Lightstar and I'm really happy that you're here.
I'm really happy that you managed to give yourself this time that's all and only about you.
This is your space.
This is a meditation created especially to feed your soul,
To tune into your heart,
To take a reprieve from all the overthinking and the constant doing,
Always worrying about other people,
Thinking about the past,
Worrying about the future.
This is a space where you can let go of all of that and just find a little bit of stillness to recharge your battery.
So to begin with we're gonna just take some nice deep breaths together,
To ground ourselves,
Quieten our mind,
To just relax.
So deep breath in through the nose,
Breathe out through the mouth,
Just let everything go.
Again a deep breath through the nose,
Out through the mouth,
Whatever you don't need right now,
Just let it go.
Time,
Breathe in through the nose and just relax and feel just by those three breaths the space you've made inside yourself.
You're just a little bit more relaxed,
Everything is just slowed down a little bit.
This is your time now.
Today's meditation is about letting go.
What can you let go of?
What can you choose to release today that just doesn't serve you or your highest good?
What things,
What moments,
What situations,
What people,
Conversations or confrontations or awkward moments are you still holding on to and carrying around with you like a heavy load?
What can you let go of today right here in this very moment to give yourself more space,
More space inside of yourself to learn new things,
To experience new things,
To feel differently?
We hold on to things so tightly like when we've been wronged or when we've been hurt or when we made a mistake or when something didn't go the way we wanted it to but you don't have to hold on so tightly.
You can let it go and allow yourself to be free.
So I want you now to imagine yourself sitting by a fire.
You could be sitting outside under the stars,
A fire pit,
You could be somewhere indoors,
Cozy on a sofa in front of a fireplace.
There's no right or wrong way of seeing this.
Trust yourself and trust your imagination.
Wherever you are sitting by this fire just know that you are safe and that all is well in this very moment and as you look in the flames of that fire I want you to start thinking about the things that you're holding on to that you know in your heart.
It's time to let go and set them free so you can set you free from the things that you're free so you can set you free.
In the next song I'm going to be quiet and as you sit there by the fire as you think of things that you are holding on to that you don't need I want you to throw those things into the fire and just watch them disappear and every time you do you feel a little bit more lightness within yourself.
Remember there's no wrong or right way of doing this.
If you had an argument with somebody do you really need to hold on to it or can you throw it into the fire and let it go?
Maybe it's something that happened to you years and years ago in the past.
Somebody hurt you.
Maybe it's time to let it go now so you don't have to carry it with you wherever you go.
So throw it in the fire.
Give you some time now.
Dig deep inside yourself.
Clean yourself out now.
Get rid of what no longer serves and throw it in the fire.
Sometimes healing doesn't have to be as complicated as we think.
Sometimes healing can be as simple as letting go of the things that we don't need to carry with us.
Healing can just be imagining a fire going through the things you're carrying with you and simply letting go of what no longer serves.
By letting go you're giving yourself a gift.
You're making your life lighter so you can float with the tides of life and find it all so much easier.
Life is so much easier.
We're not holding on to things we don't need.
So feel that in your body now.
Maybe you just let go of one small little thing.
Maybe you threw something really big and important into that fire.
It doesn't matter how big or how small or how many.
It's the willingness to try and that one thing that you may have thrown in the fire has given you more space within now and you can fill that space with anything you want.
You can fill that space with new experiences,
Meeting new people,
Loving yourself more.
Letting go is the way to freedom.
So try to let go more.
Surrender the things that don't serve you.
It doesn't have to be complicated.
You just have to choose in your heart to let them go so you can be happier and you do deserve to be happy my beautiful fellow traveler.
You deserve all and only wonderful things.
You just made a little more space for those wonderful things.
