A place to give yourself what you need and what you deserve.
So welcome.
I'm happy that you're here.
You've been made to believe that there are good feelings and bad feelings.
But that is not the truth.
There are just feelings.
A big beautiful spectrum of emotions.
Like the colours of the rainbow times a hundred.
But as human beings we get to experience all of them.
That's the whole point.
That's why we're here.
To experience everything.
We are meant to experience loss as much as we're meant to experience bliss.
We're meant to experience the struggle as much as we're meant to experience the ease.
We're meant to experience the depression and we're meant to experience the joy.
It's all part of being here on this planet.
So we need to stop running from the feelings we don't like.
The feelings that are uncomfortable or painful.
Because as long as we run away from them,
They'll just keep chasing us.
As long as you run away from your feelings,
Your soul will get tired.
Slowly but surely,
The more you run and avoid,
The more your energy will feel depleted.
And you'll give up on ever living a miraculous and marvellous existence.
I don't want that to happen to you.
I want you to be able to feel the same miraculous and marvellous existence that I do.
I found my way to this existence by giving myself permission to feel everything.
To stop running.
The kindest and most wondrous thing I've ever done for myself was allowing myself to feel everything.
All of it.
To stop running once and for all.
I'm learning to welcome in all of the feelings.
Because that way they simply visit for a while and then they leave.
But when I run,
When I avoid,
They chase me.
I get tired.
And life is hard.
So in this meditation,
We're going to stop running.
We're going to welcome in all of the feelings.
Together,
We're going to give each and every emotion permission to visit.
In this meditation,
I invite you to give yourself one of the greatest gifts you could ever give to yourself.
Permission to stop running.
Permission to just stop and accept.
I know some feelings can be scary.
I know there are some feelings that make you feel like you could die.
But they are just feelings.
And they will not kill you.
They will,
However,
Transform you,
Heal you,
Empower you,
And teach you.
And that's the reason we're here.
To live all of it.
To feel all of it.
So we can evolve and become the greatest version of ourselves that we can possibly be.
So I have a question for you.
Are you willing to change your life with me right here,
Right now?
It's okay if you aren't.
There's no wrong or right way to be here.
Just allow yourself to be exactly the way you are,
However that looks and feels.
I'm just asking you to consider trying something different to see how it fits.
Just listen to what I'm about to say and repeat it after me,
Out loud or in your head.
And see how it feels in your heart,
Your soul,
Your mind,
And your body.
To start,
We're going to take three deep breaths together to open our hearts,
Our souls,
Our minds,
And our bodies.
We're going to cleanse ourselves with these breaths,
Making space within ourselves,
So that we can embrace each and every emotion that the universe provides.
Deep breath in through the nose,
Gathering up all the clutter inside of you.
And breathe out through the mouth,
Letting it all go.
Deep breath in,
Expanding and creating more space.
And breathe out through the mouth,
Feeling more open.
And last time,
Deep breath in,
Opening your heart as wide as you can.
And breathe out all fear of any negative emotion.
And let us begin.
Sadness,
I invite you in because I know that you're here to teach me.
Joy,
I invite you in because you show me what it is to feel truly alive.
Anger,
I invite you in because I know you're helping me release what no longer serves me.
Love,
I invite you in because you allow me to bloom like a beautiful flower.
Fear,
I invite you in because I know you're simply asking me to soothe and protect myself more.
Embarrassment,
I invite you in because you help me keep my ego in check.
Hope,
I invite you in because you make anything and everything possible.
Grief,
I invite you in because you are testimony to how much I loved.
Excitement,
I invite you in because of the wonderful surge of energy that dances through the whole of me.
Envy,
I invite you in because you remind me to celebrate others.
Pride,
I invite you in to remind me of how wonderful and worthy I am.
Shame,
I invite you in because I know you're telling me to love myself more.
Sympathy,
I invite you in because you allow me to connect with others heart to heart.
Guilt,
I invite you in as a reminder of my humanness and fragility.
Desire,
I invite you in to celebrate all the delicious things we get to experience in this exquisite world.
How did that feel?
How does that feel in your body?
However you feel right now in this moment is so welcome.
Maybe you started to see how each and every feeling has something beautiful and powerful to offer you.
I know some are painful and sometimes when you do invite them they out stay their welcome.
But they do always leave in the end.
So while they are there just sit with them.
Don't judge them and don't fight them.
Just be there with whatever you're feeling and know that something beautiful is happening inside of you as a consequence.
And remember you have so much courage and power within you.
You are so much stronger than you know.
I believe in you.
I believe in your capability to feel and grow and learn from each and every emotion.
And I believe you can live a miraculous and marvellous existence.
