Every day is unique, and today you have the power to look at life with new perspectives, new opportunities, and new possibilities. You will set an intention for your day that will leave you feeling fulfilled when you put your head on the pillow tonight.

This practice is to uplift and leave you energized and positive for your day ahead.

Take a moment to get comfortable now,

Either sitting or lying down.

You might like to close down through your eyes or have them fixed at one point.

Welcome yourself to this new day.

This fresh day and all it holds.

Every morning is a possibility to look at life with fresh eyes.

An opportunity to let go of what might have happened yesterday,

Last week,

Last year.

This is a new day with new opportunities,

Possibilities,

New understanding and potential.

Every day is unique,

Not like the one before.

In some subtle way you have shifted from yesterday and today you have the power to look at life with new perspective.

Find your foundation,

A sense of connection to your seat,

Grounded,

Place of center,

To set you up with stability for your day ahead.

Create length through your spine and let your shoulders drop back and down,

So you open through your heart and your chest.

A sense of receptivity.

Invite your body to soften,

A sense of releasing any tightness or holding,

Allowing it to find ease.

Invite you to set an intention for your day,

One that makes you feel uplifted and positive,

That when you lay your head on your pillow tonight,

Will give you a sense of satisfaction.

Become aware of your senses,

Life going on around you and the life inside you,

Your body's aliveness in this moment.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Take a big deep breath in,

Breathing in fresh new energy,

Awakening every cell.

As you exhale,

Releasing any fatigue or lethargy,

Allowing your breath to renew and revitalize,

Feeling the aliveness in your body each time you breathe,

Being present with what is here.

Each time you breathe in,

You breathe fresh new energy into your body,

Rejuvenating,

Bringing in vitality,

Connecting to the life force the breath brings into your body.

As you exhale,

Letting go even more into this moment,

Grounding and centering,

Bringing your presence to this new day.

As you breathe in,

You breathe in a freshness to the mind,

A clarity and focus,

Releasing any dullness as you breathe out.

Know that you have everything you need for the day ahead,

That you're capable of meeting any challenges,

That you can easily flow and navigate through them.

Today is a fresh new day,

Infinite possibilities.

In these last minutes,

Imagine going through your day,

Calm and happy,

Bringing enthusiasm,

Joy and vitality for whatever the day ahead brings.

Bring yourself back to your intention,

Connect to it again.

I'll invite you to repeat it silently in your mind three times,

Sowing it like a seed to grow and bloom into fruition.

Bring some deeper breaths into your body,

Make them the deepest breaths you've taken this morning.

A big morning stretch up overhead if that feels good.

Let your shoulders drop back and down again,

Opening your posture and your heart,

Ready for your day.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

Thank you for setting the intention for my day to be one filled with joy. I’ve had a lot of really tough days lately with the passing of my father and helping my mom deal with her grief. Life has been very hard. I believe I have been hard on me . Today I will set the intention to do things for me and find your way throughout my day to remember that my dog brings me laughter even as I grieve. I can be productive and also relax. Thank you for all of these things that came to mind through your meditation. Many blessings to you.
