I'm Sasha Stewart and this is a meditation for letting go of what no longer serves and opening up to creating new possibilities.
We'll start by getting into a comfortable position,
Preferably sitting up with the back up straight,
The crown of the head lifted towards the ceiling and the eyes gently closed.
We'll begin by taking three deep breaths into the body,
Expanding into the belly and the chest and exhaling through the mouth.
Breathing in to the belly,
Expanding into the chest and exhaling through the mouth.
And one last time and as you're exhaling,
Imagining a sense of letting go.
And now allowing the breath to return to normal,
Letting it be easy and effortless in the body,
Feeling the gentle inhale and exhale.
And as you breathe,
Just imagining it creating a sense of softness in the mind and in the body,
Allowing yourself to come to a place of stillness,
Knowing for the next little while you are right where you need to be.
As you breathe,
Just feeling a sense of relaxation and calm,
Softening the muscles of the face,
Allowing the jaw to loosen and the shoulders to drop down.
You might even like to imagine the whole body melting into the safety of the chair below.
And now I invite you to connect into your heart,
Noticing how the heart feels and breathing in a sense of spaciousness and openness into this area.
You're bringing to mind anything that you would like to let go of.
This could be a limiting belief that you have or a situation or a relationship.
And as you breathe,
Imagine exhaling anything that no longer serves,
Breathing in a spaciousness and bringing in fresh energy into the body.
And as you exhale,
Letting go of anything that might feel stuck or stagnant in the body.
And just allowing these to be released as you breathe in and out,
Creating space for the new.
Simply releasing anything you may have outgrown.
Letting go with love and also gratefulness for anything this situation has taught you.
When we let go,
We create space for new opportunities,
New ways of being and new ways of living.
Breathing in fresh energy into the body and exhaling a sense of letting go.
And I invite you to think of something you would like to create in your life.
Bringing to mind this intention.
And creating a picture of this in your mind's eye.
And now imagining what it would feel like to live in this experience.
How would you feel?
What would it look like?
Using your imagination to bring this intention to life.
I will let you rest in this experience for the next little while.
Now you have this picture in your mind.
I invite you to surrender it to the universe.
Trusting in its power to create with you.
Trusting that all will evolve for your highest good.
And in these last moments,
I welcome you to bring your hands over your heart.
Feeling into this space.
Knowing you are right where you need to be in this moment.
Feeling that anything is possible and it's in this space that all your dreams can be created.
