Good morning.
This meditation is to set you up for your day with intention,
Energy and vitality.
Letting yourself settle into a comfortable position,
Preferably seated,
Back up straight with the crown of the head reaching towards the ceiling and the chin gently tucked under.
And bringing some deeper breaths into the body,
Expanding into the belly and into the chest.
And exhaling and feeling yourself land here in this moment.
Inhaling,
Expanding,
Bringing air into the lungs,
Opening up across the chest.
And exhaling,
Arriving in this new day,
And as the breath returns to normal,
Just allowing it to be easy and effortless in the body.
Breathing naturally,
Feeling its gentle rise and fall.
And I invite you to set an intention for your day.
This might be something you'd like to create or something you'd like to do.
And just bringing this to mind.
And repeating the intention to yourself silently three times.
And now just returning to the breath and connecting into the senses,
Feeling them alive and awake in the body.
Tuning into what you can hear,
What you can feel.
Awakening every cell,
Every muscle,
And all the nerve endings in the body.
Alive and awake in this new day.
Breathing in fresh new energy.
And as you exhale,
Letting go of any tiredness or lethargy from the night before.
And just taking a moment to connect inwards and seeing how you feel today.
This might be the only time in your day where you get a moment to be still and to listen.
Today is a fresh new day with infinite possibilities.
And as you breathe in,
Allowing the breath to renew and to revitalize.
Feeling the whole body breathing.
Alive and awake in this present moment.
Breathing in fresh new energy,
Rejuvenating and revitalizing.
Connecting to the life force of the breath.
Letting go of yesterday and bringing fresh eyes to this new moment,
To this new day.
Giving it your full awareness and presence.
Knowing that you have everything you need for the day ahead.
That you are capable of meeting any challenges.
And that at any time during your day,
You can connect back to the breath and to the stillness that you're experiencing now.
In these last few moments,
Imagining going through your day calm,
Happy,
Bringing enthusiasm and vitality for whatever the day ahead brings.
And now beginning to bring some deeper breaths back into the body.
Bringing some gentle movement into the hands and feet.
And taking a moment to stretch if you need to.
Before going out to greet the day.
