This week's meditation is all about creating space for inner clarity and guidance. We can spend a lifetime searching for the answers we need on the outside. Asking people's opinions and doing what others think we should do is draining, and it may not be the right thing. With time, dedication, and repetition, we can learn to relax and listen to our own inner guidance.

Hi there,

My name is Linds and I'm here today to take you on a journey into clarity and help you connect to your inner knowing.

For this practice you will need to be lying down.

So find a comfortable position lying on the back,

Perhaps placing a rolled up blanket or a pillow underneath the knees and something underneath the head.

Begin to move the body,

Finding that comfortable position where you can drop into complete physical stillness.

Gently begin to close the eyes.

I invite you to feel into the back of the body and the parts of the body that are deeply connected to the ground.

Gently direct your awareness now to the breath and just notice how the breath moves the body,

These small movements nurturing and grounding.

Begin to draw the awareness to the whole of the body.

Facing any wishing or tingling sensations you might find as you journey through.

I'm going to take you on a journey around the body.

All you need to do is when I say that particular body part is to feel or visualize or you could repeat the name of the body part after me.

Bring your awareness to the right side of the body.

The right side of the body.

Right hand thumb.

Second finger.

Third finger.

Fourth finger.

Fifth finger.

Thumb of the hand,

Back of the hand and the wrist.

Right forearm.

Elbow.

Upper arm.

Armpit.

Top of right shoulder.

Right side waist.

Hip.

Upper leg.

Knee.

Lower leg.

Ankle.

Top of foot.

Sole of foot.

Big toe.

Second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

Fifth toe.

Bring your awareness to the left side of the body.

The left side of the body.

The left hand thumb.

Second finger.

Third finger.

Fourth finger.

Fifth finger.

Palm of the hand.

Back of the hand.

And the wrist.

Left side forearm.

Elbow.

Upper arm.

Armpit.

Top of left shoulder.

Left waist.

Hip.

Upper leg.

Knee.

Lower leg.

Ankle.

Sole of the foot.

Big toe.

Second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

Fifth toe.

Feel into the back of the right leg.

The back of the left leg.

The right buttock.

The left buttock.

The low back.

The mid back.

The upper back.

The top of the shoulders.

The head.

Top of the head.

Forehead.

Feel into the right side temple.

Left side temple.

The right eyebrow.

The left eyebrow.

The space in between the eyebrows.

And the very centre of the brain.

The right eye.

The left eye.

Right side cheek.

Left side cheek.

The nostrils.

Right ear.

Left ear.

Right side jaw.

Left side jaw.

Feel into the tongue.

The teeth.

The lips.

Feel the throat.

The upper chest.

The mid chest.

The low chest rib cage.

Upper belly.

Mid belly.

Low belly.

The front of the pelvis.

The front of the right leg.

The front of the left leg.

Feel into the whole of the body.

The whole of the body.

Feeling into the whole of the body.

Begin to draw awareness now to the space in between the eyebrows.

And draw back to the centre of the brain.

Visualise or get the sense of the brain being like a calm lake.

It's evening time.

The sun has set.

The moon is high.

And trees surround the lake.

As you look into the lake you can see the trees dancing in the sky.

As you look into the lake you can see the trees dancing in the reflection.

And the lake looks the colour of indigo.

As you look out of the lake you begin to notice how calm and relaxed you feel.

As if your mind were the lake.

As you visualise the lake see all the thoughts just sink to the bottom.

And all you're left with is clarity.

Bask for a moment in the stillness.

Take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale keep the vision on the lake but look deeper.

There's something floating.

A message.

As you see the message float closer towards you in a beautiful decorated box.

There's a letter carved into the front of the box.

The letter is W.

And you realise that W stands for wisdom.

Within this box there's a gift from yourself.

The gift of inner wisdom.

The gift of inner knowing.

And the gift of clarity.

Take the box and gently open the lid.

You can choose to close the box and keep the box for yourself.

Or take out the box and close the lid.

You can open the box and close the lid.

You can choose to close the box and keep the box for yourself.

Or take out your gift,

Place it in your hands and allow the box to float away into the calm lake.

Take your gift and place it in the centre of your heart.

Knowing that you can come back you can spend time reflecting on the meaning of your gift.

This gift of inner wisdom and clarity.

Begin to let go of the vision of the lake.

Drawing awareness now back to the body as a whole.

Taking in a few deep breaths.

Inviting light and life back into your being.

You may wish to stretch the body.

Gently begin to open the eyes.
