Welcome.

In a world that often teaches us to think our way through life,

We forget something essential.

The body knows.

Before the mind forms a thought,

The body has already responded.

It holds our memories,

Our emotion,

Our instinct and truth,

Often without the need for words.

So today's practice is an invitation to slow down and listen,

Not to analyze or figure anything out,

But simply to notice.

As you drop below the noise of the mind,

You may be surprised at what arises.

There may be a truth that you've been avoiding,

A need that's been ignored,

Or a whisper of wisdom that's been waiting patiently to be heard.

So let's begin.

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Allow your hands to rest somewhere softly,

Maybe over your belly or heart.

Allow your eyes to close if that feels okay.

And just begin by noticing the natural rhythm of your breath.

No need to change anything.

Just follow the rise and fall of each breath,

The inhale and the exhale.

And let the breath be your anchor in this practice.

Take a few deeper breaths to arrive in the body as you inhale,

Gently expanding the belly.

As you exhale,

Softening into the support beneath you.

Again,

Inhale presence.

Exhale tension.

Now let your breath settle.

And bring your awareness gently into your body from the inside out.

We'll begin a slow journey through the body.

At each point,

We'll ask a question.

And you may not get an answer in words,

That's okay.

You might feel a sensation or see an image or simply sense a quiet awareness.

So let whatever comes be enough.

Bring attention to your feet.

Feel the ground beneath them.

Feel into the legs,

The calves,

The thighs.

And ask,

Feet and legs,

What do you need right now?

Are they asking for rest,

Movement,

Stillness?

Simply breathe and listen.

Bring your awareness into your hips,

Your pelvis,

Your lower belly.

This is the center of instinct,

Creativity,

And emotion.

Ask gently,

What emotions live here today?

You might feel openness,

Tightness,

Stillness.

Just observe.

And ask,

Is there anything I've been holding here that I'm ready to feel?

Breathing in and exhaling gently.

Bring awareness now to the heart space.

Feeling the chest rise and fall with each breath.

And ask,

Heart,

What are you carrying today?

Is there grief here,

Hope,

Longing,

Gratitude?

Let the heart speak.

And then ask,

What do you need from me?

Breathe into the response,

Whatever arises.

Now bring your attention to the throat.

This is the place of expression,

Of truth,

Of boundaries,

Of voice.

Ask gently,

Is there anything I haven't said?

Or maybe,

What truth am I afraid to speak?

And just notice,

Allowing your breath to soften and soothe the space.

Now bring awareness to your face,

Your jaw,

Your eyes,

Your forehead.

Notice any tension there and soften it if you can.

Ask,

What thoughts have I been clinging on to?

And is there anything I can let go of just for now?

Let the breath move through the head like a gentle breeze.

Clearing,

Releasing,

Making space.

Now zoom out.

Feeling the whole body as one connected field.

A living organism,

A home,

A guide.

And ask,

Body,

What message do you have for me today?

This may be a whisper,

A sensation,

Or a deep silence that says you are already enough.

Let the message land and breathe it in.

Now take three slow breaths.

Inhaling,

I trust my body.

Exhaling,

I honor what I feel.

Inhale,

I trust my body.

Exhale,

I honor what I feel.

And one more inhale,

I trust my body.

Exhale,

I honor what I feel.

As we come toward a close for today,

Take a moment to thank your body.

Even if you've been disconnected for a while,

Your body has never stopped showing up for you.

Maybe this practice can be a turning point where you begin to listen more and override less.

As you feel ready,

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Begin to become more aware of the space around you.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Coming back to your day with a little more connection to the intelligence that lives within you.

Not in the mind alone,

But in the felt wisdom of your body.

Thank you for joining me today.
