Transcript

Hello and welcome to this morning routine meditation.

Thank you for choosing to begin your day with intention and self-care.

So let's start by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Allow your posture to feel both relaxed and alert.

If it's comfortable,

I invite you to gently close down your eyes,

To take a deep breath in through your nose,

And to take a long exhale through your mouth.

And let's do this two more times together,

Inhaling deeply,

Exhaling fully,

And one more time,

Inhale deeply,

And let it all go.

Now,

Allowing your breath to return to its natural rhythm,

Let's begin with a gentle body scan this morning.

Bring your awareness to the top of your head,

Noticing any sensations or tension.

Slowly guide your attention down your face,

Relaxing your forehead,

Your eyes,

And jaw.

Move your awareness down your neck and your shoulders.

If you notice any tightness or tension,

Simply breathe into that area and allow it to soften with the exhale.

Continue down through your arms,

Chest,

And abdomen,

Inviting relaxation into each area.

Move to your hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

And legs,

All the way to your feet,

And now allow your whole body to feel relaxed and at ease.

Now take a moment to set an intention for your day.

Ask yourself,

What energy do I want to carry into today?

It could be calmness,

Focus,

Gratitude,

Or anything else that resonates with you.

And take a few breaths as you solidify this intention in your mind.

Visualize your day unfolding with ease and joy.

Picture yourself moving through your tasks with confidence and grace.

Imagine moments of connection,

Laughter,

And gratitude.

And let's affirm all of this with three powerful statements.

Repeat silently or aloud,

I am grounded and focused.

I welcome the opportunities today brings.

I trust in my ability to handle the day with ease.

When you're ready,

Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Open your eyes if they were closed.

Thank you again for starting your day with me.

May your day be filled with peace,

Purpose,

And joy.
