Welcome.
This is a space to return to your center.
The calm,
Steady place within you that doesn't get pulled by the outside world.
Let's begin by gently closing your eyes,
If that feels comfortable,
And bringing your attention inward.
There's no right way to feel,
There's just this moment,
This breath,
This body.
Begin by noticing your breath just as it is.
Where does it land?
Does it stay in the chest,
Reach the belly,
Float in the throat?
There's nothing to change yet,
Simply notice.
And now,
Slowly guide the breath deeper,
In through the nose,
Let it travel down toward the belly,
And exhale with a soft sigh through the mouth.
Take a few rounds like that,
Feeling the belly expand,
And then gently fall.
Allow the breath to settle deeper,
Slower,
Quieter.
Now,
Bring your awareness to the base of your body,
The weight of your hips,
The stability of your pelvis.
Feel the contact between your body and the ground or chair.
Now,
Move your attention gently upward to the soft space just below your navel.
Let this area soften as you breathe,
Noticing if you're bracing or holding here,
And inviting just a little more release on each exhale.
Now bring your awareness up to the center of your chest.
Breathe into this space,
And notice how it expands and contracts with each breath.
You're gently tracing a vertical line of awareness from pelvis to belly to heart,
Each breath drawing you into deeper alignment with yourself.
And now,
Imagine a quiet line of presence running through you.
It begins deep in the pelvis,
Moves through the belly,
Up the spine,
Through the chest and throat,
All the way to the crown of the head.
With each inhale,
Feel that line gently lengthen,
Creating space.
And with each exhale,
Feel yourself drop deeper into it,
Becoming more grounded,
More still.
Feel your whole center alive and connected from the ground up and the inside out.
Now let this centeredness radiate out,
Not by effort,
But through ease.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your belly be soft and alive.
You don't have to hold yourself together.
You're already whole.
You don't have to prove your presence.
You just are.
Take one final deep breath in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Feel yourself centered in your body,
In your breath,
In your life.
When you're ready,
Begin to bring small movements to your fingers and toes.
Let your eyes open softly.
Carry this inner steadiness with you.
You are here.
And that is enough.
