Welcome dearest ones.

Let us go on a journey together to move into the sweetness,

The ease of sleep.

Prepare the body,

Allow yourself to be very comfortable,

Relaxed in your bed,

In a chair.

This is your invitation to rest.

To set aside a need to always be doing.

Isn't it true that so often when we allow the body to be still,

The mind is still doing?

So let's take a deep breath in together.

Exhale through the mouth.

Another deep breath in.

Exhale through the mouth.

One more complete breath.

Feel the body filling as you inhale and feel this sense of letting go as you exhale through the mouth.

It's okay to be just as you are in this moment.

This time is dedicated to rest,

To nourishment.

There's nothing else you need to do in this moment.

You can allow yourself to be just as you are.

Feel the eyes close if they haven't already.

The small muscles around the eyes,

The mouth,

The forehead soften with each breath.

Feel the jaw releasing as you allow a space between the teeth and the lips.

The body becomes heavier and heavier.

The weight of the body melting into this support beneath you.

Feel the hands and the feet growing heavy,

Releasing all sense of clenching,

Gripping.

Bring your awareness to the soles of your feet without moving the body.

Feel the feet.

Sense the soles of the feet.

Both heels.

Feel each toe.

The tops of the feet.

Feel the ankles.

Lower legs.

And notice as you sense these different parts of the body,

You're feeling more relaxed,

More at ease.

Sense the kneecaps and the space behind the knees.

Upper legs,

Heavy and relaxed.

Feel the hips,

The pelvis,

All tension melting down into the earth.

Sense the buttocks.

Low back.

Feel the mid back and sense the body breathing.

Upper back and shoulder blades.

Bring your awareness to your belly,

Lower and upper abdomen.

Feel all of the tissues,

Even the organs housed within the belly,

Beginning to soften.

This release,

This melting of tension with each breath.

Feel the solar plexus,

This space in the center of the torso unwinding.

Move your awareness to the heart.

Know that whatever you're feeling in this moment is perfectly okay.

The chest,

The physical heart soften as these waves of ease move through the body.

Feel the upper arms relaxing down.

Feel the upper arms relaxing down.

Sense the elbows and the space inside of the elbows.

Feel the forearms,

Both wrists and the space inside of the wrists.

Palms of the hands pulsating,

Relaxed.

Backs of the hands become aware of each finger and thumb.

Feel the shoulders,

The neck and the throat relaxing,

Expanding.

Feel the jaw releasing down,

The lips,

Teeth,

Tongue.

Sense the nose,

Cheeks,

Eyes relaxed in the skull.

Feel the forehead,

The head,

Top of the head,

Ears,

The shoulders,

The whole body resting in greater ease.

Feel the breath like the gentle waves of the ocean,

This rhythm slowly lulling you into deeper relaxation.

The breath rolls in and rolls out.

The breath rolls in and rolls out.

There is nothing for you to do in this moment.

This time is for you.

This gift of rest is for you.

Allow yourself to be receptive to this invitation to sleep.

Feel yourself becoming lighter.

This expansion of lightness moves through the entire body.

Feel yourself beginning to float as if you are the lightness of a feather.

You feel yourself becoming weightless.

This is such an effortless state of being.

All worries and concerns melting,

Releasing into the earth.

It's okay to be just as you are in this moment,

Just as you are my love.

Imagine yourself sitting on a beautiful beach.

It's a beautiful sunny day.

You feel the warmth beneath you and move your toes in and out of the soft sand.

The sound of the ocean waves gently rolling into shore remind you of breathing deeply.

It's such a relaxing sound.

As far as you can see,

The beach is beautiful and quiet.

The gentle breeze softens the muscles of the body.

The beautiful song of a bird in the distance warms your heart.

It's the perfect day to take a nap on the beach.

You lie down on a blanket or a beach towel.

You have something to cover your eyes and face,

Allowing your mind to sink into a beautiful quiet inside.

The warmth on your skin relaxes you deeply.

Even the bones of the body soften down into the earth as you feel yourself held.

Nourished by the sounds of the ocean,

Nourished by the light.

You feel so comfortable and at ease in this place.

There's not a care in the world as you feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed.

All there is is this welcoming sleep.

You feel the eyes becoming even heavier.

The breath is deep and relaxed.

You have everything you need in this moment.

In this beautiful place,

You sense that you are surrounded by unseen support.

Maybe it's just a feeling of warmth.

Of strength,

Of kindness,

Of love all around you.

Or maybe you feel that your guides are right here with you in this moment as they always are.

Or maybe you feel that your guides are right here with you in this moment as they always are.

This feeling within allows you to rest even more deeply.

Your awareness moves again to the sound of the gentle ocean waves rolling into the shore and rolling back out into the oneness of the ocean.

You feel yourself breathing with these gentle waves rolling in and out.

In and out.

As you rest,

Your awareness moves deeper and deeper inside.

You feel the rhythm of your heart guiding you into a deep,

Restful sleep with each beat.

You slowly follow the heart,

Counting down from 20.

With each count,

You feel yourself drifting into the sweetest sleep.
