Welcome to your relaxation meditation.
This meditation can be done while sitting up or lying down,
Whatever feels best for you right now.
You can go ahead and close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out.
And in and out.
And one more big breath in and out.
Right now,
No matter what time of day it is,
Maybe it's the morning and you just know there's a lot coming up today.
Maybe it's the middle of the day and you just need a break.
And maybe it's the evening and you've had a lot going on today.
Whatever time of day it is,
We're going to take this time to just relax and just let go of anything that's floating through our minds right now.
You don't need to think about any stress you've recently been under or anything that you've had go on in your life right now.
You just need to be present in this moment.
Right now,
I want you to go ahead and think about the most relaxing place you can imagine right now.
Whether that's the beach,
The mountains,
Your bedroom.
I want you to just picture it and I want you to put yourself in that picture.
And wherever that is for you,
I want you to begin to feel how it feels to be there.
Think of the smells that you would smell if you were there.
And I want you to just sit in that.
And just feel how relaxing it is to put yourself in that place,
To be in that place.
And you're putting yourself there now,
But you can come back there anytime.
Just be present in this moment and take it all in.
And I want you to just feel how relaxing this is.
And I want you to move that through your whole body,
Starting at the top of your head.
Just feel that relaxing feeling move down through your face,
Then down through your neck,
And then through your chest,
And down both of your arms.
Down through your stomach,
Through your hips,
Down both of your legs,
All the way down to your feet.
And just take that relaxing energy flowing through you and just remember how that feels to be present in this moment.
Go ahead and take a deep breath in and out.
Okay.
I hope you were able to get to that relaxing place in this meditation and I hope you know that you can come back to that place anytime you feel like you need it.
Anytime of day,
Whatever you're going through,
You can bring yourself back to that place.
So you can go ahead now and open your eyes.
