In the course, I will share with you the building blocks of Yoga Nidra, sleep yoga, the benefits of it, and how you as either a participant or a creator can experience the most benefits from it. This course is laid out a little like a Mysore of Yoga Nidra, we start small with the basics and build up in time and endurance of the experience, eventually enjoying 45 mins to an hour and beginning with 7 minutes. This is designed for you to create your own Nidra. In this way, I can share with you how wonderful each stage is, and what each stage Is for and this helps you to appreciate it and stay with it, either from the participants' view or if you are hoping to teach or create your very own bespoke Nidra.

Yoga Nidra Preparation & Withdrawing The Senses
In this lesson, we explore the benefits of Yoga Nidra and the reasons why we might experience a Yoga Nidra and then we begin with the first 2 points of the Yoga Nidra process. Preparing our Space and withdrawing the 5 senses.

Create A Sankalpa
An intention to invoke something positive in to our lives, this should be short and clear and repeated 3 times in the practitioners head. It is nice to offer one for people sometimes so that they do not worry about finding the right one. Keeping it positive and in the present or allow there to be space with out an intention at all and see how that feels.

Rotation Of Consciousness
In this part, we revisit the previous stages of Yoga Nidra and harmonise them with a short rotation of consciousness, in order to prepare please set up your Yoga Nidra space so that you can enjoy the experience of these early stages and reflect on it for you. Have your notebook and journal handy.

Pairs Of Opposites
In this lesson, we explore the pathway to relaxation through our feelings and emotions, recalling an awakened experience typically done in pairs of opposites, light and dark, heavy and weightless, hard and soft, hot and cold. Triggering the part of the mind connected with memory and sensation.

Visualisation
Visualisation — (follow the Sankalpa theme, if you have one) taking the awareness to the dark space, in front of closed eyes termed as Chidākāsha, you can take a journey through a story or images of objects.

Circle Back to Your Intention
Returning back the Sankalpa - If you chose to have one at the beginning, then this is where we return to it and say it in our minds eye 3 times and with confidence and awareness, in this part we explore how our intentions can help break a habit or invite us in to manifesting new ways of living and being.

Take Rest and Return
In this lesson, we experience the opportunity to end the practice in savasana or yogi rest, in silence before we emerge back into the world, using our senses to bring us back into every day. Choosing which way might align best with us to move out of this healing space.

Yoga Nidra Practice
This is our final chapter and a chance for you to experience all the pieces put together, we journey through from start to finish in one session. Create your comfortable space before pressing play and have a glass of water for when you come back in to the room.
