This is a meditation based on contemplation of the 5 universal elements, feeling into how we are made up of them. Feeling that we are not alone and that we can really be at one with our planet. Inspired by the Ayurvedic philosophy of creation and how we come into being. This track contains ambient sounds in the background

An element meditation.

Breathe into spaces in your body that might have tension.

Let's just notice for a minute where those places are.

Bringing deep breaths into your body to find those places of tension.

And now simply notice your breath.

Decide to be settled here in your breath,

Peacefully laying or sitting whichever you've chosen.

Become aware of the earth,

The earth within us.

How that earth is represented in our bodies,

Our bones,

Our flesh,

Our skin,

Our fats.

Considering the planets,

Our planet,

Rocks,

Trees,

Tree trunks,

Flowers,

Plants,

Buildings,

The floor,

The pavement,

All aspects of the physical world.

That solid element that is in us,

On the planet,

In our human world around us,

In our natural world around us.

Everything that is of solid body of the earth.

Feeling that connectedness,

That weight.

For a moment,

Allow it to be absorbed.

Feel as if you can embody all those qualities.

Absorb them in with your breath into your body,

Into your prana,

Into that energy.

And with your exhale,

Let them go.

Just offering everything over to the earth.

As if you've tuned into all the solid elements within you,

Within our planet,

And felt them be as one in your breath,

In your body,

Releasing them out to the earth.

Tuning into the water element,

The water in your body.

How do you feel the water in your body?

The fluid in your body,

The blood,

The lymph glands,

Lubricating of everything,

The synovial fluid,

The wetness of your eyes,

Mucus of saliva,

The moisture in your nostrils,

The sweat.

And just considering all of that that you have within you,

All of that water element.

Imagine for a moment the rivers on the earth,

The streams,

The rains,

The ocean.

Sense the tide.

Sense the wetness in the soil.

And consider the fluidity of all of that and everything inside your body.

Imagine the oneness and the connection between that fluid nature inside your body and that fluidity of the water element around us on earth.

Your blood and the rivers,

How they can flow in the same way.

Offering that fluidity in your body.

Imagine that fluidity to connect to the planet.

And just feeling it for a moment.

Feel your electrical wiring running through all the neurons,

That little buzz that you can feel in your emotions,

Your thoughts,

The agni fire of our digestion,

The electrical charge of air,

The feeling of energy and life force in your body.

Considering the earth and why that fire and life force is present.

Within the volcanoes,

The lava and the center of the earth,

The heat in the center of the earth,

The lightning,

Spontaneous fires,

Hearth fires,

Electrical elements,

Wildfires in the forest,

The sun,

Stars,

Earth,

Heavens.

Feel how the fine glow in your body is connected to that universal energy.

Feeling how that electrical current is just pulsing through your body.

Like the fire of a candle and that heat.

It's almost like the fire in your belly,

The fire in your heart.

Considering air,

Prana,

Gases in your body.

Without this air element,

There would be no life.

The flow that allows movement,

Blinking your eyes,

Joints to move.

That pulse that gives you the propulsion to move and breathe.

Considering the universe,

The wind,

The wind that we feel all the time,

The air and the atmosphere and how the planet flows,

The exchange of molecules,

The oneness of breath with other beings and feel air in our body as it is in every other body.

The atmosphere of this on our exquisite planet.

Feeling that exchange that we have with our air,

Our body air and the universe.

Considering space,

Space which allows everything to exist.

The atoms in your body are 99% space.

So the whole body is filled with space.

Ears,

Mouth,

Hands,

Legs.

Consider the space on the earth that holds the planet and allow yourself to experience this space.

The space within you being the same space as the space within the universe.

We are sharing the same space.

Feeling the other elements of your body and their combination and fluid nature of connecting to the elements of the universe.

And meditate on the experience of oneness of all that is,

That we are part of the universe one in the same.

Feeling that connectivity to the earth,

To the universe,

To the sky,

To the fire.

Drinking it in for a moment.

And resting here for as long as you need to.
