What Does It Mean To Live A Creative Life?
We start our journey looking at the many ways creativity is, like meditation, a practice. And how it is more than just being an artist. Creativity is a way of looking at the world. It is about trust and about letting go. It is about aligning with spirit. It's messy. It's unpredictable.
In today's lesson, you will breathe into your current relationship with creativity. You have to start where you are. In order to move forward with your creative practice and your creative life, you have to determine what your relationship with creativity is now.

Courage
Today we tap into your courage! It can be scary, living your most creative life because it means you’re living from your truth and you're also expressing your truth out loud, putting it out there in the world. Expressing your truth isn't always about creating art. It is also about how you show up in the world.
In today's lesson, we explore this idea of living from your truth. You will have the opportunity to look at how fear may be holding you back from living your most creative life. When you turn toward those fears, take the risk, stand up knowing you may fall, then you are acting with courage. Remember: Without fear, there is no courage. It is by tapping into your strength that you find your courage and you can express your creativity in whatever form it takes.

Saying Yes
In today's lesson, you will have the opportunity to identify where you might be blocking yourself from living a creative life. We explore what it means to say yes, to give yourself permission to live creatively. Saying yes is giving yourself permission to accept yourself as you are: perfectly imperfect. You'll dive a little deeper and look at what stops you from saying yes to your creative impulses and to yourself.

Stay Curious
In today's lesson, we look at the link between curiosity and creativity. We explore the difference between following your passion and being curious. It is curiosity that will lead you to new and interesting explorations and discoveries. We turn toward the small questions that bubble up from deep within. It is with curiosity that you are able to ignite your creative spark.

Inspiration
Often we are waiting, with little patience, for inspiration to breeze into our lives. But the more we wait and expect, the more elusive it seems. In lesson five we will look at the relationship between inspiration and creativity. We will explore the true definition of what it means to be inspired—to breathe into.
Today's lesson is about the breath of life; about breathing into your own life. Discover your inspired spark, new ways to become inspired, and what to do when you feel you've lost your inspiration.

In lesson six, you will have the opportunity to deepen your listening practice. When you center yourself and tap into your intuition, you find support, creative inspiration, guidance, and so much more. Today you will connect to spirit through the practice of writing.

Surrender
Living a creative is living a life of surrender; surrendering to magic, to surprise, to the unknown. You surrender to the universe, the spirit, and your higher power.
In today’s lesson, we look at what it means to surrender to living a creative life. Like much of what we've looked at in this course, surrender is also a practice. It is a practice that leads to magic and miracles. This is what we will practice.

Play
As adults, we don't make enough time for play in our lives. Play is something that we think is just for children. We think it's not that important and that we are too busy to play. Play supports creativity and so much more. In today's lesson, while I share some of the many benefits of play, you will get the opportunity to practice playing.

Crafting Your Creative Life
In today's lesson, you begin to craft your creative life. You will have the opportunity to put some of the tools you've been learning to use as you design your creative vision. Through meditation, you'll connect to your sixth chakra, opening to spirit, so that you might receive messages that will help you in crafting your creative vision. You will use your writing practice, turn toward your journal, and allow messages to come forth through your pen.

Commitment
You've come a long way. You've dug in and you've gone deep. You've looked at your fears, what blocks you from living a creative life and you have crafted a blueprint for how you want to build your creative life. Like creativity, meditation, surrender and so many things in life, commitment is also a practice. But with the proper tools and techniques, you can make and keep your promise to yourself—to nurture and cherish your creative endeavors. Today, you will begin to write vows to yourself, committing to lead your most creative life.
