The Resonant Ally
In Day 1: The Resonant Ally, we confront one of the most profound transitions of later life: recasting inherited relationships in the new light of wisdom. How can we radically reset our inherited relationships–with children, with partners, with old friends and colleagues–in a way that allows us to embody our wise selves and offer others the benefits of resonant stillness? Our purpose is to consciously clear the heavy atmospheric baggage of a lifetime of identities so that we can offer an unburdened, spacious presence where others feel safe to simply exist, allowing them to naturally become their best selves. We’ll explore this friction through a short talk on "Shifting the Weather," a guided meditation titled "The Clearing Air," and a threshold-pausing protocol designed to step out of decades-old dynamics and into pure resonance.

The Communal Ally
In Day 2: the Communal Ally, we step across our own doorsteps to bring our wise, attentive presence to the world at our doors. Instead of a retreat from life, the second half of adulthood is an opportunity to be a presence in our neighborhoods and community spaces, allowing our hard-earned wisdom to enhance the environments around us—whether through a mindful interaction at a local coffee shop, as a steady presence in volunteer spaces, or simply as an open heart while walking our neighborhood streets. As research on healthy aging consistently shows, altruistic “strong ties” in our community coupled with casual, unhurried "weak ties" with others are key to cognitive vitality and emotional well-being. We’ll explore this generative transition through a short talk on "The World at Our Doors," a guided meditation titled "The Open Circle," and a simple public-threshold protocol designed to help us step out ready to share the power of our resonant stillness.

The Creative Agent
In Day 3: The Creative Agent, we expand our outward expression by reclaiming our natural, unmonetized curiosity as creative beings. How can we step away from the transactional demands of productivity and instead inhabit the spacious freedom of pure, intrinsic creation? Our purpose is to discover the profound joy of engaging with the world through vital acts like painting, landscaping, music, or movement—not to achieve an outcome or monetize a hobby, but as a deliberate practice of conscious agency. We’ll explore this transformative shift through a short talk on reconnecting with our innate vitality, a guided meditation to quiet the analytical mind, and an actionable protocol designed to anchor our daily actions in the pure joy of creation for its own sake.
Les 4
The Embodied Self
Day 4: The Embodied Self invites us to radically rewrite our relationship with our physical self, shifting away from a deficit mindset of bodily decline and toward seeing the body as a vessel for wisdom. Our focus is on the life-enriching joy of caring for the physical self—not out of fear of aging, but as a deliberate act of self-love that fuels our purpose, creativity, and capacity to care for others. The purpose is to discover the immense relief of treating physical maintenance not as a chore, but as a sacred stewardship that allows our inner light to cleanly radiate. We’ll explore this transition through a short talk on 'The Embodied Self,' a guided meditation titled 'Your Wise Future Self,” and a somatic alignment protocol designed to bridge the gap between present actions and long-term vitality.
