Jeff is based in Bellingham, Washington, in the far northwest corner of the U.S. A retired college professor, he’s studied rhetoric, philosophy, psychology, the nature of consciousness, and religion for nearly fifty years. His meditations focus on simple, rational approaches to fostering greater conscious awareness and equanimity. His course, “The (Un)Retired Life," distills some of the best ideas on retirement and aging from experts in fields as diverse as neuroscience, anthropology, psychology, and spirituality. He joined the Insight Timer community in 2017.

Having just turned 70, my desire and intention is to continue to grow, to be more present, curious and a container of support for others from a stance of equanimity. This course aligns with that vision. And I’ve had glimpses of a more present, less reactive self, but of course with many slips! I know practice is key! Thanks for a valuable course, it’s worth a listen! 🙏🏼
