This course is a combination of lecture and experiential learning activities. By the end of this course, students will: 1) know what mindfulness is and is not, 2) understand the benefits of mindfulness, and 3) experience a variety of mindfulness techniques.
Dr. Fullchange is a Taiwanese-American, multilingual, licensed psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and nationally recognized public speaker. She received her Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical & School Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara through a prestigious Doctoral Scholars Fellowship award. She has published book chapters, written articles, and presented on mindfulness, social-emotional health, trauma, burnout, empathy, resilience, race and anti-racism, and identity at the crossroads of mental health and education....
