Yoga Nidra that doesn't just relax you. It rests you in the awareness already awake beneath the tiredness, held by the real sounds of a Himalayan village. Most Yoga Nidra stops at deep rest. This session goes further, using nondual teaching to point you toward the awareness present even in sleep: the part of you that never gets tired, never needed fixing, and was never truly stressed. In the background, real, unsynthesized sounds of daily life in a Himalayan village: birds, distant voices, quiet wind. You'll move through a body scan and breath awareness, then rest in simple nondual being. No prior knowledge of nonduality or Vedanta needed, just 35 minutes to stop doing and see what's left. Good for: deep rest, insomnia, anxiety, overthinking, and anyone curious about consciousness, self-inquiry, or Advaita Vedanta. Nivritti Yoga draws on the Chinmaya Mission, Ramakrishna Mission, and Bihar School of Yoga lineages. Follow for more sessions.
