Hello,
It's Nisha from Joyful Living.
Today we're going to do a yoga nidra for the third eye chakra.
So now is your time to rest.
To journey inwards.
And to awaken the wisdom of your inner vision.
Find a comfortable position lying on your back.
Perhaps in your bed or a yoga mat.
And get really comfortable.
Allow your arms to rest gently beside your body.
Palms facing upwards.
Close your eyes and take a deep nourishing breath in.
And exhale slowly.
Letting the day release.
Allow yourself to surrender completely.
Now silently invite.
A heartfelt Sankalpa intention into your awareness.
Something simple.
Positive and true.
It may be,
I trust my inner wisdom.
Or I see clearly through the eye of intuition.
Or something else that's important to you.
Repeat this intention softly within.
And repeat it three times.
Planting it like a seed in your consciousness.
Now we travel through the body.
Inviting each part to rest deeply.
Starting on the right side.
Right hand thumb first finger.
Middle finger,
Ring finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
For all.
Alba.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Right side of the chest.
Away.
Bye.
Me.
Car.
Ankle.
Heel.
Sew to the foot.
Top of the foot.
Right big toe.
Second time.
Fifth time.
The whole right side of your body is relaxed.
The whole right side.
Relax.
Now the left side.
Left hand thumb.
First finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger.
Little finger palm of the hand.
Back of the hair.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Left side of the chest.
Way.
Thigh,
Knee car ankle.
Here.
Sole of the foot.
Top of the foot.
Laugh big time.
Second time.
Bad,
Full.
All the toes.
Relax.
The whole left side of your body is relaxed.
Bring awareness to the back of the body.
The heels,
Coughs,
Thighs.
Hips.
Spine.
Shoulder blade.
Back of the head.
And the front of the body.
The forehead.
Eyes.
Cheeks.
Legs.
Belly and pelvis.
The whole body.
Resting deeply,
The whole body resting deeply.
Now bring your awareness.
To the natural rhythm of your breath.
Notice the rise and fall of your belly.
The coolness of the inhale at the nostrils.
The warmth of the exhale.
Breathe into the space.
Between the eyebrows.
Deceit of the third eye.
Imagine each breath as a wave of light.
Blowing in and out of this sacred centre.
Now bring awareness fully to the third eye,
The space between your eyebrows.
Visualise a deep indigo light glowing here.
With every breath,
The light expands.
Soft and radiant.
See it as a lotus with two petals gently unfolding.
Feel the awakening of clarity.
Patient.
And inner knowing.
Perhaps an image,
A symbol,
Or simply light.
Arises in your awareness.
Allow it to come and go without grasping.
Trust the wisdom.
That flows from within.
Repeat silently.
I'm guided by my intuition.
I see with clarity.
And wisdom.
Rest.
And this radiance for a few short breaths.
Now slowly.
Bring awareness back to your body,
Resting on the ground.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the earth.
Come back to your sankalpa.
Your intention.
And repeat it three times in your mind.
And let it manifest,
Let it come into your life.
When you're ready.
You can either open your eyes or drift off into sleep.
Your practice is complete.
