Hello lovely people,
It's Nisha here.
I hope you're well.
So today's yoga nidra is for hot flush relief.
So I'm sticking with the menopause theme for a while.
As I think that's what a lot of women are especially craving for,
Especially in midlife.
So I want you to find a comfortable position.
Lying on your back.
With a cushion beneath your knees.
And a light blanket over your body.
Perhaps lying in your bed or on a yoga mat.
Allow your arms to rest comfortably beside you.
And gently close your eyes down.
There is nowhere to go.
Nothing to do.
Nothing to achieve.
This is your time to rest.
As you settle into stillness.
Begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breath.
There is no need to change anything.
Simply observe.
Feel the support beneath you.
Fill the.
.
.
Holding your weight completely.
And allow yourself to soften.
With each exhalation,
Release a little more tension.
Release the jaw,
Let the jaw soften.
Release the shoulders.
Release the belly.
Release the hip.
Release the legs.
Allow the entire body to surrender.
Today,
This practice is an invitation.
To cool,
Soothe and restore your whole system.
You are safe.
You are supported.
You are hell.
Now bring to mind.
A sankalpa.
A simple intention for your well-being.
Perhaps my body is finding balance.
Or I move through change with ease.
Oh.
I'm calm,
Cool and at peace.
Repeat your sankalpa,
Your intention,
Silently three times.
Now bring awareness.
To your right hand thumb.
First finger.
Metal finger.
Ring finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
Your breath.
For all.
Albo.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Armpit.
Right side of the waist.
5.
.
.
Knee.
Call.
Ankle.
Hail.
Sole of the foot.
Top of the fence.
Big toes.
Second time.
That time.
4th toe fifth time.
Bring awareness to the left hand.
Left thumb.
Second finger.
Third finger.
Fourth finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand,
Back of the hand.
Forearm.
Alba.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Armpit.
Left way.
Bye.
Knee.
Ankle.
The hill.
So to the effect.
Top of the foot.
Big toe.
Second time.
That time.
Fourth time.
Fifth time.
Awareness moves to the back of the body.
Back of the head.
Shoulder blade.
Metal bar.
Lower back.
The butter.
Backs of the legs.
The heel.
Bring awareness to the front of the body.
Top of the head.
Forehead.
Eyebrows.
Space between the eyebrows.
The eye.
No.
Jewel.
Heart centre.
Upper abdomen.
Navel Lower abdomen.
Power.
Entire front body.
Become aware of the whole body resting.
The whole body breathing.
The whole body supported.
Bring awareness to your breath.
Feel the coolness of the inhale.
Entering through the nostrils.
Feel the warmth of the exhale leaving.
Observe this natural cooling and warming.
They're worth it.
Simply awareness.
And I want you to count now from 11 down to zero.
Inhale,
11.
Exhale,
Eleven.
Inhale,
Touch.
Exhale,
10.
Inhale now.
Exhale,
Nine.
And gently work your way down to zero.
Now release the counting.
And gently just continue breathing.
Imagine a gentle wave of cool,
Soothing energy.
Flowing through the body.
Beginning at the crown of your head.
Flowing across the forehead.
Calling the temples.
Cooling the eye.
Cooling the jaw.
Pulling the throat.
The shoulders.
The chest.
The heart.
The ballet.
The pelvis.
The light.
Feel a pleasant sensation of comfort.
A natural state of balance.
The body knows how to regulate itself.
The body knows how to be equal.
Imagine standing beside a cool mountain stream,
A gentle breeze touching your skin.
Coolness throughout the body.
Refreshing.
Comforting.
Feel your body feeling cool.
And allow the coolness to remain.
Imagine you are sitting beside a crystal clear lake at dawn.
The air is fresh and cool.
The water is perfectly still.
Soft blue light reflects across the surface.
You notice the silver moon light resting upon the water.
Cool and soothing.
The moon represents calm,
Feminine wisdom.
It reminds you that every phrase of life has beauty.
Every season has purpose.
Bathed in cooling silver light.
The light flows through your forehead.
Your throat.
Your heart.
Your womb space.
Your entire body.
Bringing balance.
Harmony.
Ease.
You feel completely supported,
Supported by life.
Supported by your own inner wisdom.
Knowing your body is wise.
Your body is adapting.
My body is finding balance.
That those words sink deeply into your mind.
Now let go of all effort.
Let go of images.
Let go of words.
Simply rest.
Awake and aware.
Resting deeply.
Floating in stillness.
Nothing to do.
Nothing to fit.
Nothing to change.
Return to your sankalpa,
Your short positive statement.
Said at the beginning of your practice.
And repeat it three times.
With feeling and trust.
You can either begin to awaken the body,
Wiggle your fingertips through your toes.
Or gently.
Fall off into sleep.
Hari Om Tat Sat Hari Om Tat Sat Hope to see you next time.
