In today's yoga nidra,
We're going to work on the solar plexus chakra,
The seat of personal power,
Confidence and radiant energy.
So I want you to get really comfortable.
So lie down.
Allowing the body to feel completely supported by the earth beneath you.
Close your eyes.
And take a deep breath in.
And saw it out.
Give yourself permission.
To rest deeply.
Knowing that everything is exactly as it should be.
Begin to notice the sounds outside.
And then notice the sounds inside this room.
And come to set your intention,
Your sankalpa.
Something very personal to you.
As we're working with the solar plexus,
It could be,
I'm confident.
I have the personal power.
Or something that resonates to you.
Do the rotation of consciousness.
Bring your awareness to the right side.
Right hand thumb.
Second finger.
Third finger.
Fourth finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Right,
Um.

The right way.
The head.
Right side.
Me.
Shin.
Encore.
Top of the foot.
Sew to the foot.
Right big toe.
Second time.
The whole right side is completely relaxed.

Relax.
Now to the left side of your body.

Bring about the feeling of heaviness now.
Your whole body is heavy.
Thinking deeper into the Earth.
Your whole body is heavy.
Try lifting your fingertips.

Now bring about the feeling of lightness.
The feeling of lightness.
Your whole body.
Is as light as a feather.
Floating up to the sky.
Your whole body is light.
Perhaps see yourself.
Lying on the floor.

Float back into your body now.
And notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly.
With each inhalation.
Feel the navel gently lifting.
And with each exhalation,
Sinking softly back.
Notice the rhythm of your breath.
As if the belly itself is glowing with golden light.
Now bring your awareness.
The space just above your navel.
The solar plexus.
Imagine a warm golden sun.
Shining brightly here.
With each breath.
Its rays expand,
Filling your abdomen.
Your chest.
And your entire being with radiant light.
See this light as confidence,
Clarity and vitality.
With each inhalation.
The sun grows stronger.
With every exhale.
It dissolves any heaviness,
Fear or self-doubt.
Repeat to yourself.
I am strong.
I trust myself.
I shine my light with confidence.
Stay here for a few moments.
Bathing in the golden radiance of your inner sun.
Now silently repeat your sankalpa.
Your heart without intention.
Three times.
In your mind with feeling and complete awareness.
And see it manifest.
See it come into your life.
Let it come into your subconscious mind.
Slowly.
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your belly.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Supporting you.
Bring small movements back into your body.
Or just drift off into a sleep.
Whatever you need to do.
Take a moment to notice how you feel,
Centered,
Strong and glowing with inner light.
Your solar plexus is balanced,
Alive and radiant.
