Hello,
It's Nisha here from Joyful Living.
Hope you're all well.
Today we're going to do a practice of yoga nidra for the heart chakra,
For opening up the heart centre to allow more love and compassion into your life.
So I invite you to get really comfortable.
And lie down on your back in Shavasana.
Perhaps having a pillow underneath your knees for support.
And a blanket for warmth.
So get comfortable.
Gently close your eyes down.
And soften the jaw.
And allow the whole body to rest.
This is your time.
For deep rest.
And inner healing.
There is nothing you need to do.
And know where to go.
Simply allow my voice to guide you.
Now bring your awareness.
To your Sankalpa,
Your heart's deepest intention.
Something simple.
Positive and stated in the present tense.
It could be.
I am open to love.
I am compassionate.
I am at peace.
Or something that resonates with you in this moment.
And repeat it.
Three times.
And let it manifest.
Let it come into your life.
We're now going to bring awareness through the body.
I'm going to name body parts as I do,
Bring awareness to each body part.
Just awareness,
No need to move.
Starting on the right side.
Right hand thumb First finger.
Middle finger,
Ring finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand,
Back of the hand.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Armpit.
Way.
Bye.
Me.
Car.
Uncle.
Sole of the foot.
Top of the fat.
Right big toe,
Second toe.
Dad.
Fu.
The whole right side.
Of your body.
Yes,
Voila.
The whole right side.
Relax.
Now the left side.
Left hand thumb.
First finger.
Second finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hair.
The Wraith.
Forearm.
Alba.
Shoulder.
Armpit.
Die.
Knee.
Car.
Ankle.
Heal.
Soul.
Top of the foot.
Left big toe,
Second toe,
God.
The whole left side of your body is relaxed.
The whole left side.
Relax.
Back of the head.
Crown of the head.
Forehead.
Right temple.
Left temple.
Right eyebrow,
Left eyebrow.
Eyebrow center.
Right eye left eye.
Right here lefty the noise.
The thread.
The heart centre.
Become aware of the whole body lying in stillness.
Now bring awareness.
To your breath.
At the heart center.
Imagine you're breathing directly in and out of the chest.
With each inhale,
Light flows into the heart.
With each exhale,
The heart softens and expands.
Count backwards from 11 to 1.
Inhale,
11.
Exhale.
11.
Inhale,
10.
Exhale,
Turn.
And just continue in your own time.
Feel the weight of the body.
Your whole body is heavy.
And now the lightness of the body.
Your whole body.
Is as light as a feather.
Floating up to the sky.
Feel warmth around the heart.
And then coolness.
Just notice.
Now let's bring a visualization behind the closed eye.
Visualize a gentle green light.
Glowing at the centre of your chest.
With each inhale.
This light grows brighter.
With each exhale,
The light radiates outward.
Filling your entire being.
Imagine this light.
Forming a lotus flower with 12 petals.
Opening slowly.
With your brush.
Each petal,
Representing love,
Compassion.
Forgiveness.
And P.
Sense this light expanding beyond your body.
Filling the room.
Touching the earth.
Radiating.
To all beings everywhere.
You are connected to the web of love that unites all of us in existence.
You feel a sense of compassion.
And peace.
Return now to your sankalpa.
Your heart's deepest intention.
Repeat it three times.
In your mind.
And let it manifest.
Let it come into your life.
With complete feeling.
And awareness.
When you're ready,
Slowly bring awareness back to the breath.
Feel the rise and fall of the chest.
Become aware of the sounds around you.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Begin to move the fingers and toes.
Perhaps coming back to this room.
Or you may want to continue to resting.
Your heart is open,
Balanced and radiant.
Carry this love into every moment of your life.
